You have actually said it the best way it could've possibly come. I'm sure the processing and visa officers know that a Law degree is a professional degree regardless of what the ECA report says. However, I know that they work-to-rule most times without recourse to independent, fair and flexible interpretations, and so may want stick to what the report says.

Your submission is by far the most reasonable thing anyone in that condition would do - Optimize points but stay within safe limits

My dear @mcstan18 VOs do not know oooo. They strictly follow what is on your ECA Summary.

Someone posted the story of someone whose application was rejected because of this LLB evaluation by WES.

The comment was that she selected Masters/professional degree whereas ECA by WES mentioned 4 years Bachelor's degree hence her CRS was not enough for the ITA she got and bang - REJECTED.

I urge every lawyer to ditch WES for IQAS however if WES is so dear to you so te if you dont use WES you cant sleep and you shaa insist on using them send both LLB and your law School transcript ( so you can las las claim pounts for 2 or more degree)

A word is enough for the wise.

I agree with you on this mcstan. We know her law degree is regarded as professional but if I chose Wes and my report equates it to a degree, I would not use professional while creating my EE profile but that's just me. If the VO want to upgrade then let them do it. This issue is a bit controversial with various people saying different things they saw on their report and gcms notes. I personally would err on the side of caution.

@BarbaraCharles, stimulate your CRS score with degree and see what it comes to. If its above 440, then you're good to go

Fellow Delsuites. Ofime and Fabulousfinite, I need to confirm how much you paid to process your transcript. I was told 10k at exams and records oleh, which Hubs and I paid, only for our files to be returned to Oleh by Abraka that the fee is now 30k per person and so we should go and pay up the difference before they continue processing. Also, does this fee include courier to WES or we go pay another one again? cry Please help a sister abeg.
Hi. Maybe one of you should try ICES alongside WES, I did the same(for nursing certificate), ICES worked out in about 40 days. It cost me about 100k in total. Penny wise pound foolish gave me all the motivation I needed to give this journey all the expenses. No crime in trying, moreover, ICES seems to give the same evaluation as IQAS only with better timeline.

Hello House,

Silent follower - something i read here made me wonder if i may have misrepresented myself. I was refused visa to Uk some odd 6yrs ago on grounds of insufficient travel funds and asked to submit with sufficient(no refusal stamp). I did that immediately and got Visa 3wks later. I have gone on to obtain 3 additional visas including an active 2 year visa plus 2 other 2year US visa. This was my first attempt at outside ECOWAS travel.

My question is - is there a way to mention this now, though i have no indication on passport and i cant find any email or letter concerning the incidence.

Biometrics done plus MEP and background check says ongoing.

It never occurrred till i read it here yesterday. Please help i am in panic mode.

Thanks alot.

If you paid another visa fee for the one that was approved, then it was a refusal.

Thanks Estac for your detailed response. I just used the CRS calculator and it is 431 but will be 470 if I choose the Master's degree option. I am even confused oh. What do I pick in the highest level of completed education? is it ''three years or more post- secondary sch credential'? or what? Thank you '

Are you evaluating both your University and law school degree? if yes, please use the CRS to calculate your points using "2 or more certificates". Otherwise, just close eye and apply for IQAS evaluation to be safe.

Mhhhnnn...Just a message from the universe saying "stick together, it will all work out somehow in the end". You might need to start considering PNP though, while hoping that the scores drop.

Thanks. It's wise to use bachelor's degree than do any oversabi. If the VO upgrades, my luck (Let my case be the changing point for WES to consider in my favour oh Lord grin). I'll just use my age factor and ielts (about to write this) to my advantage and hope for the best. Hubby and I already paid for WES earlier this month, processing is underway...just beating myself I didn't know of IQAS before then, imagine how my crs score would have been looking pretty cheesy.

Hello...please i need your guidance...Wes just sent an email and also updated my profile saying the WAEC was not accepted

WAEC: Not Accepted | Details

Reason: WES received your document, but it was not sent directly from your academic institution. WES requires your institution to send academic documents directly to WES.

Instructions: Please ask your academic institution to send your document to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official. If you have already contacted your institution, no action is necessary at this time.

Please what do i need to do.
Hi Phemmy,
Please reply your PM I need some clarification on CIPM.

Na so my broda. Nor be lie

@BarbaraCharles. May it favour you.

I made yeye errors too. Using DHL to send photocopy of masters certificate to WES (SMH) when I for use fax free of charge lipsrsealed

Using a friend's canny address to receive ECA result and thus missing out on the tax refund (in those days of tax refund)

Asking for UK PCC report to be sent to Naija via nipost and never receiving same (till date) when all I could have done was sent it to a friend's address in the UK. I had to pay again for a replacement copy.
May God help us. E nor dey pain again sha. Once you get PPR, all that fades away

All in all, my application was fairly straightforward. Decision to travel to PPR = 9 months. I really didn’t encounter any delays (asides my bsc matter) getting any of the documents and I thank God for that. Single NOC, Work ref was how CIC wanted it + payslips, POF was money in 2 mutual fund accounts (GCMS said they did not include my pension) + my salary and personal account, Medicals at QLife, PCC – ASP Mosh + UK PCC which I sent to a friend to scan down.
I wish everybody success in every phase they are at…..….. All the best

Congratulations and favour all the way in Jesus name. Amen

But mheeenn Seee IELTS score ooooo, BC offend you.

@doppler06 Please do you mind expounding on this - (GCMS said they did not include my pension). Thanks

@TEECANN

Do you think it’s a good idea to allow people to use this thread to advertise WhatsApp groups? What can be discussed in WhatsApp groups that can’t be discussed here?

@Justwise,

My attention has been drawn here to your above quoted message.

Permit me to set the issue straight:

BACKGROUND:
I have been on NL since late 2007 (My first moniker- TCANN went with the tsunami that hit NL sometimes ago)

As a respectable and senior member of this community, I will not do anything that willfully & knowingly contravenes the modus operandi of the land.

TO THE ISSUE:
In late May 2018 when I received ITA alongside some other beautiful folks here, the idea was mooted by the members who got ITA on the same day, that a group to support each other's application preparation and eventual submission won't be a bad idea. It was meant to be a specific-goal group with closed membership. All of the May ITAists (Less than 10) have since submitted their applications and the support objective achieved and concluded.

I want to believe you should be fairly well certain that I am not here for any commercial agenda or clandestinely canvassing for membership to any public forum or group in the manner that your post portrays- "...advertising Whatsapp groups". That will be far from the truth! (we have come a long way since the early days of the UK tourist visa thread grin grin)

Finally, I want to appreciate your consistency and leadership in managing this behemoth, seriously, you deserve some accolades! grin

It will end in praise IJN!
