Is it constitutional for Delta State to Adopt Ambode since his laudable vision is not wanted by his people?

Pride begets a fall...

Too much pride killed Ambode.
Little wonder he was supported by egocentric set of people.

I wonder who can beat up the other in a physical fight.
I'd say Ambode slightly, though he is older and a bit overweight.

with your indomie brain

jimi agbaje had a political weight than ambode. with tinubu support for ambode made him triumph jimi, you should check the margin of their votes in 2015

if tinubu support jimi of course he will win Lagos. Lagos PDP don't have the charisma to win Lagos. a party wooing other party man when they have eligible candidate

sympathy and emotional votes don't exist in southwest, if it does adeleke, fayose shouldn't have lost

I love Ambode, he has done well for Lagos. I want to beg him in the name of God, he should not result to dirty fight. He should accept the result in good faith and negotiate position for his followers as much as possible. I am very sure that he will come back to complete his remaining 4 years if he accepts this advice.

Same thing done to fashola and Ambode awaits you, there was never a fight! Direct primaries turned to the normal 'baba sope' rule... I pray ambode defects to PDP, then let's see your strength with lagosians, I mean the masses against ambode

I am having a feeling that if ambode eventually is frustrated out of APC things might take a twist during general election and history might be rewritten
My opinion

kirkwood:
Politics bullshit!

How come Ambode did not use his power. Lagos is the fifth largest economy in Africa and he wasted his power for the past 4 years.

Lesson: Don't be comfortable no matter your level of success. Something would just happen and you get back to square one.

Not late too late. Politics is a game of number.

Let him collect as much information on collected PVCs, the voting pattern as he can.

Frustrate House of Assembly members with money.

Woo hungry, jobless Agberos with PVCs.

Work underground and scatter votes for Tinubu and Buhari.

Give power to the opposition.

And life goes on.

Tinubu was once a governor like him

He deserves another four years like every other first-term governor.

If he tries it, he will be impeached within a month and if PDP offers him an automatic ticket, he cannot win. APC Lagos delegates that voted during primaries were 1,043, 752. Please, tell me how PDP will now win Lagos State? in 2015, Ambode won by 812,394 votes.

This election has taught me that are a section of the country since independence has chosen to remain as slaves.

Who still remembers Mbadinuju of Anambra State, Jolly Nyame of Taraba, Mohammed Lawal of Kwara, Segun Osoba of Ogun, Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto, Achike Udenwa of Imo, Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom, Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia? That one has lost two consecutive senatorial elections. But Tinubu has not only managed to remain extremely relevant, he has continued to control Lagos politics 100%. Not only that, he manages to carry his boys along and today they occupy critical positions in our national life. Take it or leave it, Tinubu is today, Nigeria's most powerful politician. It didn't just happen by chance. He worked very hard for it. Very very hard. The hallmark of a true leader is not just the ability to rule well but also the ability to nurture and groom his associates.

Your statements don't help.

A lot of yorubas are not happy with what just went down. They are still trying to figure out why the party rejected ambode and if this massacre is against the public interest.

Statements dt attempt to diss the whole tribe because of a political party's actions just make people become territorial. Pple will choose tribe over political difference.

This same thing happened after the oba of Lagos stmnts in 2015. PDP would have won dt election in a landslide. because a lot of pple believe dt a king should be apolitical & not support any party and were prepared to prove dt to him. But the igbos didn't allow it. Your dissing became counterproductive.
