Lol... Bros.
Did you get my question? I actually got a GTA offer that covers the full cost of tuition as stated. It is on my I20. But as usual, the VO would ask for my sponsor... So I am basically asking if mentioning my uncle and the GTA offer will sound cool to the VO. grin
Thanks Bros... Emi ni ori, Fila ni mo n wa baba mi grin

Start with the GTA which is a stronger selling point than uncle. You can say you have a GTA that covers full tuition and if the Vo ask who covering the rest thrn uncle comes in the picture

Congrats on your full ride.
From your question, it shows you are yet to do your due diligence by going through past transcripts.
Please and please and please, go through a lot of past transcripts before you go for your interview, prepare as if your life depends on it to avoid stories that touch.

Fellow
Please what do I do the school I applied to said they won't accept joint, orgarnizational, company, or family statement of account, except a personal statement of account. and the statement I sent to them was a joint family account statement.
These has really been delaying the review and making admission decision
Pls what can I do

If you are going for student visa and you are married, then it is fine if you appear together. Just get her I20 as well and apply for her under the F-2 category.
Thanks so much bro.

So F2 visa applicant will also have an I20? Will she apply differently to the same school as mine or will I tell the school to send 2 I20s?

Thanks

You didn't state what course .... congrats. I would say the first step is to take either GRE or GMAT which will help with funding

My field is Accounting. I won't mind having my Masters in that same field.
Probably if there are better lucrative courses abroad, then I may have a change of mind.
Thanks

Bros some first class are not typically an achievement especially those from private institutions. The real first class are those who graduated from a typical rigorus public institutions. A 2:1 and 2:2 holder from a public institution is better than a first class from all these private institutions in naija.
you better stop fooling yourself... is it nigerian publiv schools with their useless and rotten educational system that should be a standars for valuable education? with the thousands of graduates churned out yearly how many of them have been able to do anything close to even mark zuckerberg? ... ..

keep consoling yourself.... tell the school you are trying to apply to that your school sysytem was irrelevantly rigorous and thus you suffered....and you deserve an admission with granted full tuition and no gmat plus free accomodation and green card. olodo

I didn't get much advice from my last thread on the main page..However I am trying again and hope nairaland can turn up for me this time on here and give me some credible advice this time.. This was my last post ;

Please I need your urgent advice concerning my travel plans for my masters in the USA..I was giving admission but denied a Visa at the embassy twice around June, July..However I deferred my admission to Spring 2019 and already got my i20 for about two weeks now..I don't want to do it wrong this time and in need of advice on how to go about reapplying for the Visa..Time is going by and the earlier I book an appointment, the better...Thank you all in advance.

................................

I've heard I was denied because I am 29 old that is single, with my father as my sponsor which is actually true..In fact all my details in the last form was very correct and true, but now I am being told you'd rather lie to get the visa..Weird isnt it? Now I've been advice to apply as married, probably with a kid and change a few things in the form, since it's over two months from my last application....Can this help pls and does it have an consequences? Time is running out and I am yet to book an appointment..PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank yoh bro. I have followed past transcript wella. My question may seem to portray otherwise. The sequence of mentioning the financial resources available is what I wanted to clarity. Thanks again!!!

https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/dependents that the official site regarding dependent so read it

from the site : Make sure that your designated school official (DSO) knows that you would like to bring your dependents with you. When you inform the DSO that your dependents will be accompanying you to the United States, the DSO will then issue a Form I-20 for each of your dependent ......

SO YES it is the same school that would issue a i20s for all your dependents

Denied because you are 29 and still single, hey, bro, don't bring that closer to me at all, I am 31 and still single, so, where in the visa policy was it stated that at a particular age, you must have been married before applying for F1 visa?

Probably, something was wrong during the conversation with the VO. I am engaged, and that is all.

It is possible to get an off campus Job but you will need a special permit for that, however it is quite difficult to get otherwise almost everybody will ask for it.

Transfer from F1 to H1B is also possible but it is getting more difficult as well as most employers here will outright demand you are a permanent resident even before they consider you for anything. But a discipline in a very specialised area in STEM will help a great deal.

Good , i have a discipline in Computer sciences , apparently i am a Programmer / Solutions Architect with a Major Bank in Nigeria. I work as a vendor for them. I also have skills with Penetration Testing and using Kali and all that, and currently thinking of writing an Exam with CiSA probably CISSP

Hello People, am concluding my first degree here in Nigeria by November, am 21 and I made a first-class in Accounting.
I have a passion to travel to the United State to continue my school. Please I needed a guide on what to do and how to go about everything.

I had no idea at all. Just a newbie.

Thanks Family!

Read back from page 1 of Part 13. This is the best advice you can get. Don't attempt to do anything in a hurry. You should understand me better as a first class student.

That’s a wrong advice. Some details in some part are obsolete and waste of time. Part 13 is enough
