Atiku and Jeniffer Douglas. Husband and wife. A perfect Bony and Clyde duo.

Thieves personified.

This case history demonstrates how, over an eight-year period from 2000 to 2008, Ms.
Douglas and Mr. Abubakar were able to bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United
States, primarily through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations
. Over this time period, Ms. Douglas opened over 30 accounts at U.S. banks, most of which were unaware of her PEP status due to incomplete PEP lists maintained by third party vendors and inadequate due diligence
procedures.

In one case, a bank failed to document her PEP status even after being told of her marriage to the former Vice President of Nigeria. In two instances, Ms. Douglas used her U.S. legal counsel, Mr. Weidenfeld, to help convince a bank to open an account. At each bank where she opened an account, she described herself as unemployed or a student, soon began receiving large wire transfers from offshore corporations, and explained when asked that she had little or no information about the companies sending her money, but believed the funds were being sent by her husband. At first, U.S. banks accepted this explanation and allowed Ms. Douglas to bring nearly $25 million over eight years into the United States. Over the last year, Mr. Weidenfeld accepted at least another $2.1 million in wire transfers from an unfamiliar offshore corporation, with no questions asked. Over five years, American University accepted $14 million.

In each case, the bank, law firm, or university was told it was receiving funds from Mr. Abubakar. Mr. Abubakar is a complex figure in Nigerian politics. His 20-year career in the Nigerian Customs Service, 10-year stint as a private businessman, and 8-year tenure as Vice
President of Nigeria, are difficult to evaluate, especially in a country plagued by corruption. His
founding of Intels while a Customs official, the company’s association with powerful
government officials, and its increasing economic profile, raise questions about the basis for the company’s success.
Mr. Abubakar’s quiet exchange of Intels shares for Orlean shares in 2003; his use of Orlean and then a shell company associated with Mr. Volpi to run his allegedly Blind Trust; and the millions of dollars sent by corporations associated with Mr. Volpi to Douglas- related accounts in the United States, raise a host of questions about the nature and source of Mr. Abubakar’s wealth. An allegation by the SEC that Ms. Douglas received over $2 million in bribe payments from Siemens AG, intended in part for her husband, also cannot be dismissed.

Mr. Abubakar and Ms. Douglas convinced U.S. banks, a U.S. law firm, and even a university to accept millions of dollars from unfamiliar offshore corporations to advance their
interests. U.S. AML and PEP safeguards require further strengthening to prevent offshore
corporations from sending millions of dollars of suspect funds into the U.S. financial system.

What a criminal.

HE WAS VICE PESIDENT FROM 1999 TO 2007
HIS LOOTING MILLIONS TO THE USA BEGAN FROM 2000 TO 2008.

He began looting from Nigeria exactly 1 year after he became VP and stopped exactly one year after he stopped being VP. grin

Within 8 years $40 million dollars (which they could trace) was looted to USA by Atiku with his wife as a chief accomplice whose job was to keep opening accounts where they would stash this money. In one day she would open several accounts while declaring she was unemployed and a student and specifically numerically organised deposits would begin coming into this accounts. All questionable and unable to be verified as to source. Even she could not declare the reason for the payments and their source.

If anybody cannot see the link to this then that person must be a wailing zombie.

Thanks for referring to this,i think it is more logical to assume the above document typed by anybody and use as an evidence. We need to challenge our logical reasoning here.
Johnnyessence:
The United States Department of Justice has denied having any record that indicates that Nigeria’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has a pending lawsuit in the US.
In an email to our correspondent on Friday, a spokesperson for the US DOJ, Peter Carr said, “Thank you for reaching out to us. I have checked the public court records, and they do not show cases filed against a defendant named Atiku Abubakar.”
This was stated as a response to SUNDAY PUNCH’s request for information on whether Abubakar is wanted in the US in connection with any issue of money laundering.
The mail also asked the department to confirm whether Abubakar has been banned from entering the US and if there is any court case against him concerning the Halliburton scandal which resulted in the conviction of a US lawmaker, William Jefferson.
Asked if it is true that the ex-vice president (now a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress) was banned from entering the US, the American official said the issue was confidential.
He said, “Visa issues are confidential under section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. If your question is specifically about entry – not about visas per se – I would refer you to the US Customs and Border Protection.”
Last week, Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, had implied that Abubakar was avoiding a visit to the US because he might be charged with a case of money laundering.
He reacted to Abubakar’s interview which he granted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s quarterly publication, Zero Tolerance, where he had accused the Kaduna governor of corruption by offering him Transcorp’s shares.

Okay the PDP presidential primaries have come and gone and a winner and Presidential flag bearer for the party has emerged. He is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

I am happy for PDP for choosing to field him as the opponent to President Buhari because in so many ways, it clearly sets us back to the scenario of 2015 which is the issue of Corruption vs Integrity.

Under same scenario in 2015, we know how that played out especially with the help of card readers which ensured that PDP no longer were able to inflate vote figures.

Same PDP in the form of Bukola Saraki the senate president recently tried to eliminate the card readers from the new modified electoral act but Buhari insisted it should be clearly included in the electoral act before he would endorse it. After much back and forth, it was included.

PDP in the past has been tagged as a party with a religion of looting and Nigerians were hoping that this time around, after being given 4 years break from power they would come back refined and more appealing to the many decent Nigerians who abhor all forms of corrupt practices but sadly they seem to have failed in this regard.

Right from their Primaries, it was evident that they just did not care about what people thought about them as they brazenly bribed delegates with large sums of dollars out of desperation and this speaks badly of where they are headed and why.

Between $2500 and $10,000 was shared per delegate by the aspirants of which Atiku was the largest bribe giver.

It is also on record that Atiku had been indicted on money laundry charges by the United States of America in conjunction with Homeland security. Anyone who knows how the homeland security works in USA would know that they are directly responsible for who is allowed in or out of the United states.

Once you are on their radar and red flagged, you have absolutely no hope of getting into the United States of America until your charges have been dropped and they have cleared you.

Atiku for many years (since 2008) has refused to step a foot in the united States based on the reason above. His partners in the money laundry crime have all been arrested, charged and jailed except him. Even his 4th wife resident in the USA who was an accomplice was arrested and jailed.

As it stands, Atiku is a wanted man in the United States of America.

His case was so deep, it became a case study on Corruption for homeland security in the USA.

For a party like PDP to still brazenly want to frolick with a known wanted man and a prolific looter of Nigerias Commonwealth, it shows that this party is far from turning over a new leaf and are still hell bent on continuing with their looting religion but this time, under a new ATM with no pin code called Atiku.

Obasanjo had his fair share of his thieving ways and has never forgiven him till date, now PDP have embraced this internationally known thief as their figure head for 2019 presidential polls. Talk about bad image laundering.

Anyway, attached is from the united states homeland Security with emphasis (mine) on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

You be the Judge!

Even if you show a video of Atiku looting the central bank it will not change or dent Atiku's campaign image.

The tyrant and terrorist whose son Yusuf Buhari 'saintly' drives and crashed a 55 million naira bike is more hopeless and useless.

Donald Trump has been linked to several tax frauds and cutting corner business dealings yet he is the president of the United States today!

Buhari was a coupist and a man who flouted Nigeria's constitution severally by inciting public violence that led to destruction of lives and properties yet he was elected Nigeria's president!

Most people that ruled most advanced nations have crook history!

If you guys like, bring a live video showing us where Atiku is stealing money in bags from CBN vault, we prefer him to a killer, a tribalist, a wicked man, an extremist, a man that watches happily as his citizens from other tribes are killed in cold blood at night.

Stealing is better than killing! shocked

We want Atiku like that and if after we elect him America say they don't want it, they can GTH!!!

Dead Atiku is better than living Buhari angry angry

Even if you show me a video or picture of Atiku stealing from the Central Bank, I and my family will still vote for him.

Visiting USA can never be a criterion for voting our president cos Americans don't visit Nigeria too before winning elections.

You are clearly not a smart cookie since you do not know how the US justice system works.

Prior to any charge being made against anyone, an arrest has to be first effected especially in a case like that of Atiku who was not resident in the united States.

Those who took part in this crime who were all resident in the US were all arrested, tried and jailed.

Same treatment awaits Atiku.

The DOJ said the truth because he is a non resident so they cannot have a suit against him except he was in the process of being extradited to them and this was why when a more direct question was asked about his being banned or not from entering the USA the answer was very direct and I quote below

The words in red is them saying ITS IN THE HANDS OF HOMELAND SECURITY because they are responsible for the borders, visa related issues as well as customs.

Atiku has a red flag with them based on his crime of corruption which others involved were arrested, tried and jailed for.

Use your head and not your feet to think
if you don't want to artikulate allow those who want to artikulate to do so in peace. as for me I want to atikulate, anything to escape from buhari
