Abeg, bible gurus please help me with this. I was reading the story of the great flood of Noah's era. Two questions just kept ringing in my head.
1. If all specie of animals where selected in pairs of male and female and we know the Noah's ark was in the Asia, how did specie of animals that are domicile in Africa, Australia and the Americas cross the seas and oceans to get to the Ark in Asia?

2. After the flood how did say for example an African lion and all other animals local to Africa cross the red or indian ocean to get back to Africa or how did kangaroos and other animals local to Australia cross the Indian ocean to get back to their locality from Asia, where the Noah's ark was built and where it stopped?

we had ships built after the flood , which might have been the means by which most animals were transported


or
the worlds land mass wasn't separated by water as it is today.


Also in the book of 1kings, it was mentioned that area and peacocks were transported by Solomon during his reign from far away countries to Israel

like I said it is very possible that at the time of Noah journey the world wasn't fragmented by water and so these species could have gone by land. Also some animal species have gone from being predominantly water animals to being amphibians

There is nothing like *African lion " , lion is lion.
God did not instruct Noah to get each geographical species of animals.

It is just a metaphorical story to teach us the spiritual fact that it is still God that destroys.. God creates and God destroys... The Bible is not a history textbook but a spiritual manual..

DNA, cause every two of their kind entered the ark. A male and a female, they mate after, and through DNA they became what we have today.

Most likely, through travels and transportation, they find their way back to other parts of the world.

It was easy for the whole earth to speak one language and move together that was why the Towal of Babel was possible. Noah was able to go round the world the tell them about the flood, gathered the animals and also spread after the flood.


However in Genesis 10:25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan

It was at this time the continent started breaking out. If you considered the shape of the continent you will see the part each broke out from . e.g. south America braking from the part of west African. India and Australia breaking out of Asia map and so on.

a lot of things are wrong with that story

The georgraphy of the earth as it is now wasnt like that then. In the early days there was no atlantic ocean or indian ocean. U talking of millions of yrs ago. Even withing a short time the geography of the earth changes and not to talk of millions or thousands of years. U need a geography guru to enlighten u and not a bible guru.

the origin of man as explained in science doesn't corelate with that of the bible, if you think it does. explain how Adam was created 6000+ years ago according to the bible while science thinks humans graced the earth hundreds of thousands years ago?

according to the bible, the great flood happened 5,000+years ago and then continental drift has already occurred millions of years before then. so the earth of Noah's era is what we have now.

The only bible Guru is God Almighty, the Author of the bible. Back to your question, there is a land link between Asia and Africa through Egypt. I think the African lion and other African species used that route.

Assuming what u are saying is correct, do u know how long it would take the kangaroo to trek from Australia to Mesopotamia,you mighys also want to answer this question too,now considering that only a pair of each animal entered the ark,what did the lion and other carnivores eat when they came out from the ark ?

The Old Testament is a confusing book!! Makes no sense but then we as Christians r to belive what ever whether it makes logical sense or not !! Lol
