You need to go and open a political class for Ibos in the SE

The igbos are generally loud and they’ve carried that loud mouth into politics

They are very predictable and that's what keep dragging them behind. What would it cost you to shut the Bleep up and take one party by surprise? Let it serve as a deterrent to other. That's what makes SW different and not the total number of vote cast.

South west has no capacity to do anything to PDP. They have never voted for PDP before and will never, the 50% and above votes they always get there is from non Yorubas and relatives of those who are contesting under PDP

So it is Yoruba ghost that vote in Ekiti and Osun election ba?

[Saraki will retain the SP am from SW but i will prefwr Atiku to choose his VP from SE for block vote ....SW will vote Atiku believe me and SW can settle for Speaker and still have other key position in the govt. All we are saying is Buhari must go !!!!!quote author=mycar post=71937672]Then that negates everything, what is worth doing is worth doing fine, no more no less.

Everybody is tired of Buhari, pick your VP from SE and you have 99% SE & SS and 50% SW with you, get 50% North and you are good to go
SW should go for SP, they can push their agenda from there.

... Lol! Calculations don't work that way. Okowa is on the verge of being uprooted just as Udom Emmanuel. The APC will enjoy or witness more votes compared to that of 2015 in the SS which was totally all out for GEJ then.
...

While I'm of the opinion that the VP slot should be given to SE, I kinda find some comments funny, mostly about SS, most of these online political pundit know little or nothing about how APC has penetrated deeply into the region, The only PDP stronghold in Southern Nigeria is SE, APC is now deeply rooted in Delta state (All thanks to Ogboru and Agege), In Edo Oshiomole will make sure he delivers his state to APC, Akwa Ibom will be divided, the only states PDP can get above 70% vote from are Rivers and Bayelsa.

As for me, my family, relatives and friends, should PDP pick VP from south west. We shall give the remaining 4 years to Buhari. Reason being that we have had strong and serious support to PDP since inception. Why denying us this at this point?

Yes, most Igbos will never dream of voting for Buhari even with a gun to their forehead, but there are other parties and also an option of boycotting the elections if PDP betrays us and that would be a disaster for Atiku and PDP.
For 16 years of PDP rule, none of the top 2 positions went to the SE despite the unflinching support from the region, now some people are still suggesting rubbish.
I don't know why Yorubas want to reap where they did not sow
Fanta for you my man, Ive always wonder why Igbos are always victims of political pool and negative predicament.... Simple Igbos have no political sense at all....only good at selling stuffs... The game is open go for the other two options. I.e boycotting election or vote for other lesser party and see buhari twerk and catwork back to Aso rock ... Then you will witness the raw plot of buhari and his jihadist brothers against d tribe...
Can't you read handwriting on the wall that Atiku has a near zero influence in d south west.. and the only option to compensate for dt is by choosing a running mate who would be approved and love by them(westerner's).
Don't bother to attach ethnic bigotry to this as I am fully from d N E... Buh my submission is dt I wish above all things.... Buhari must be send back to daura

Competency and the fit is again being relegated , not by the politicians but by the very citizens, who are victims of the mismanaged economy. This tribal sentiments hasn't done this country any good at all.

ijustdey:
“So, what they are looking at are the sentiments that the vice presidential candidate can drive for the joint ticket. To a large extent, they are looking at South-East, of course; and I can confirm to you that the South-East has a strong case.

But the major consideration delaying the announcement is that a lot of stakeholders feel that the position should go to South-West. And they’ve been giving lots of reasons for that," said the source.

were u in COMA or under High Drugs? When u wrote this rubbish above. I have said it before, and I will say it again; people from your region always react emotionally to issues, without facts. Saying Yorubas never voted for PDP, is a lie from bottomless pity.
Get ur facts right, before coming online to fool ur fellow gullible S/S & S/E pple, who can not think for themselves.
The facts are Yorubas voted PDP in 2003,PDP won in osun,Ogun,Oyo,ekiti, ondo; they only lost in Lagos.
And in 2011, Yoruba voted massively for PDP Jonathan, he won in Lagos, ondo,Oyo,ekiti,Ogun, he only lost in osun.
I know ur pple are not well in tune with right information; but must u lie,to drive home a point ?

If u have contrary election results as against the one I posted, pls post it now.
Or for ever keep mute.
U must be under alcoholic influence. 50% and above ? In essence, you are saying, non native votes were more than the ingenious vote.

In2015, Yorubas went for Ambode and Igbos led the pack that pitched their tent with Agbaje, and what was the margin of victory for Ambode? Thin hair victory of 100k votes. That is the delicate ethnic population pattern of Lagos.

People should also look at the ACTUAL voting in 2015...SW gave Buhari 2.3million and SE gave GEJ 2.4 million votes. Food for thought.

In any event, Yoruba has nothing to loose in this permutation. Osinbajo is already there. It is only Atiku that has got everything to loose.
yorubas voted for agbaje.
south east gave jonathan 97% of their votes why south west votes was shared between jonathan and buhari.
this time around buhari is getting 70%. of the votes cos apc has now fully occupied the 6 states.no stronghold pdp chieftain in south west again

The entire country will lose out to Buhari

The Yorubas had the Presidency for 8 years, the only thing they are is greedy

The most patient people in Nigeria have been the Igbos who have received nothing but insult and ridicule for the last 19 years after supporting PDP, even when the same Yorubas abandoned them in 2015. And now that they ought to get some compensation for such uncommon loyalty, the same greedy Yorubas, whom these Igbos supported for Presidency for 8 years, want to come and snatch it from under them. Did Igbo peopoe not Vite massively for OBJ in 2004, even when Yoruba peoppe stood against him?

Humility, is that not the height of wickedness, selfishness and injustice? That you will shamelessly take from a man, what he has suffered and sweat for, to what end?

Is it not greed? Does it not say a lot of you as a people? Is this how loyalty should be paid? That Igbo should vote for Atiku and a SW VP and abandon Buhari? Then they stand the risk of being shut out another 8 years

In 2027, who will they have to step down for? Another Yoruba man?

If Igbo people do not get VP with Atiku, they will help in Buhari's win, after which they can at least hope he will hand over to an Igbo man in 2023. Nobody will play us for fools one more time.

We may not be politically savvy, but we will be nobody's fool.

So you're just knowing that politics and politicians are all about greed, greed and more greed? If it's not greed, What is Ekweremmadu still doing in the senate? He's now going for his 20th year or 24th year. Is he the only one in his senatorial zone?

What did you say when the SW politicians in PDP were denied the PDP chairmanship? didn't you know that was also caused by the greed of some people?

I'm an advocate of PDP giving the ticket to Igbo but i'm sure i think this way because i'm not a politician. All politicians are greedy including your people, in fact, more so but be that as it may, it'll be indefensible for PDP to deny SE the ticket. In my estimation, they've earned it, but we might all be shocked that the SS might just nick it. Atiku has some crazy investments in the SS and he might use it to further his nest after all he's a politician

A politician can't be successful if he's not greedy

These ethnic permutations are not necessary. Atiku/NOI is a good one already.

Over 40% of voters in Lagos for example are non-Yorubas. Atiku will get at least 45% of the total votes in Lagos alone and over 80% in the South East.

my friend shut up where did u get this stats.
non idigene voters in lagos not up to 30% . i work for inec 2007 2011 and 2015 . no accreditation list has up to 30 non indigene names in each polling boths.
i am ground here in south west infact apart from lagos and a part of ogun state. non hardly vote in election in oyo , ondo, osun and ekiti.

If Atiku is wise, he will pick a Vice President from the southsouth. Edo state or delta state. Those 2 states can swing to APC if care is not taken. He needs to solidify it.

If he goes to the SW he will lose SE support. If he goes to the SE he will lose some SW support and lose a lot of northern support. Truth is he can't win wt SE vp. These biafrans and their toxic mouth will spoil his market.

Why am I even giving this PDP people expo?
