U dont have to be brilliant to study melecine. Just be average but study hard nd daily, u would be a medical doc. But if u r very brilliant but not dedicated with studying, yoy would be flushed out in no time.
thank you but i still need to know the cutoff mark for UNN let me prepare myself

Sure, u need high scores to get in, brilliancy would get you into med school, but only diligience, hardwork and consistency would make you a medical doctor. Same for others in Nursing, pharmacy and the rest.

Alhamdulillah Rabbeel Aalameen.
After 3 years of chasing medicine, the Almighty God have done it for me.
I was admitted to study MBBS in ABU Zaria. I just don't know how to express my happiness.

Sorry Bro, but that is not the spirit of a good Doctor.I rarely reply to posts except the ones that catch my attention. If truly you want to be a Med. Doctor and you are convinced right in your heart that thats what you would do best, why dont you put up a little determination?i call it stikability(which you need even when you eventually get to medical school)thats the spirit that keeps you going when you have labs 5 times a week and classes inbetween, plus voluminous books to cover.the spirit that keeps you for 5-6yrs in med. sch.Dont allow Situations in Nigeria to ruin your Drea.ms Dont quit just yet if medicine is really what you desire, dont accept what life throws at you.Search yourself to know how you can do things better next time and 210 isnt really bad provided you have the chance to prove yourself and do better in the PUTME.
How many times Have you tried BTW?

I spent 8yrs after high school before i got into Med.School.I couldnt think of anything else but Medicine,so it depends on your passion and driving force. My experience really might not hold true for everyone anyways!
8yrs. Chisos

My love for pharmacy and medicine is endless
I have no joy at all in biochem
Now am having peer pressure against my choices and telling me time is wasting and all that bullshit at first i dnt actually listen but now dey are starting to get to me i turned 17 this yr
And am studying biochem at a university of technology so nothing like changing from one department

Lol.. Honest reply... Distinction is not by cover to cover but understanding the concepts of topics that are asked in exam in ur school and being able to reproduce them even months later (may not be accurate but must be substantial).
I advise you to rely on God's grace.

URGENT!!!
Hello,
for those in BSU.
My post UTME is in two days time and I haven't had time to study as I've been engaged with other commitments.
What's making me delusional now is the fact that I don't know if MATHS will be part of the post utme subjects. For my main subjects I'll just brush through and I'll be fine. But maths? I haven't had anything serious to do with it in the past 2 years.
BSU guys, will I be writing maths?
I have been waiting to quote this post!
2 years at home. Wrote Jamb 3 times!
Today, I've been offered admission to study medicine and surgery.

Yes I have.
Just go to any CBT centre close or preferably the jamb office in your state... it's not something difficult
...You should do it now or you'll have to part with 10k for regularization if you do your clearance like that.
