jennyhumphrey:When you get to the Airport, Ask for the Vat/Travelex returns section, You will fill in your Personal details and Credit card details and submit the slip you were given from the shop. Takes between 3 to 5 days to reflect in your account. |

You don't need any of these for a tier 4 dependent visa. What you need to present mainly is proof of maintenance fund and proof of your relationship to your wife. Check out the link below and do more research before you waste your money. https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa/family-members thonerow: |

Nope they don't care how you got it. You just need to show that you've kept the required amount in your account untouched for 28 days. thonerow: |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by K4daniel: 9:19am On Oct 17, 2018 |
ashekmoney:Your response on hotel booking was good and ok. And please know that when applying for ukvi.if you intend using jan to June statement always make provisions for the two months before January because Ukvi will confirm your last two months prior to your first month of statement. They check someone's acc it was ok and later confirm the balance prior to the month she printed the statement and discovered the balance money was about 1000naira she was rejected. And for some huge money you must explain if its your housing allowance or leave allowance..i also notice that thise who do recharge their phone cards online and some can do 200 and 50naira.they will examine your standard of living by such transactions. This people are very intelligent so people have to really plan ahead and have a good healthy statement if you really want a uk visa as a first timer. Its just this first time the others will not be difficult as being a first timer can give them lots of doubts and when you have uk visa there is 90%chances that US will give you too. |

iyatrustee:To add to this, you should be there earlier enough that your flight departure time because the queue is always long and you can equally get refund for your oyster card and the balance on it if meet the requirements of number of days. |

Quick One good people. My son is 2 years plus and a US passport holder. My wife and i just applied for the UK visitor visa(1st Timer). Do we need to apply for him(my son) as well or come with him to the visa appointment center on the appointment day? He is to travel with us if visa is approved. |

K4daniel:I know I'm not an expert but I don't think it's true that UKVI confirms your bank statements of two months prior to the months submitted. Your bank will not disclose your account details to any party without your permission. The ECO makes their decisions based on the documents submitted. |

K4daniel:For example such money could be savings or joint contribution or income from Agric business you participated..you must let them know why they were paying into your account. For Agric business how can I explain the incoming amount bcoz in the form I only claim I don't av another job. Or can I claim is a joint contribution in my office with other colleagues. Please help me out |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by K4daniel: 12:55pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
ashekmoney:You don't need to do that because you will provide evidence of such contributions, I only gave you examples, you know where you get the money and the purpose of such money.you can explain your own reason of receiving that money I only gave you my own example. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by K4daniel: 1:09pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
adegoks1234:Nope, I am not saying they do confirm prior statement at all times but some extreme cases when they are looking for a flimsy reasons to refuse a first timer. I know of someone they confirm from her bank and the bank sent same to her HR to know if she was their staff, Hr unknowing sent all mails to staff and I tell you that mail was seen clearly showing a confirmation of prior months between bank and ukvi..Bros i saw it..Just let's leave it coded and I will advise anyone to really plan and do your home work before submitting your doc as a first timer. To avoid wasting our money and speaking unnecessary grammar just to be on save side get the complete 6months statement and ensure your back prior is not that bad.My opinion not anybody. The last application with my visa was 8 months statement. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by OmoBendel24: 1:17pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
K4daniel:Why are you struggling to validate an obvious untruth you posted? We will not leave anything CODED here please. This is a wildly read forum, such untruth you are pushing must not be allowed to stand neither to see the light of day here. Normally without mincing words, I will tell you you didn't see nothing of such with you eyes, but I won't. And you also added that "when you have uk visa there is 90%chances that US will give you too", from whence cometh these stats? |

Dear. People. kudos for the good work. i have a very pressing issue I would want an advice. I have submitted my application and undergone biometrics. I found out the hotel reservation I made via booking.com and which I used in applying for the visa has been cancelled. I tried rebooking the same hotel and couldnt because its fully booked for the dates I earier booked with. Is it advisable to now book an entirely Different hotel and send an email to the visa processing center at Sheffield explaining what happened and attaching the new reservation. or will it just complicate issues? Any other logical idea to remedy the situation will be welcomed 2. Do UK visa always call hotels to confirm reservations? I have only Got a mail that my application has been received and is being prepared for consideration by an ECO. . A quick response will be appreciated . I don't want to jeopardise my chances for visa issuance |
