I linked it online.. This morning when I checked is showing my application is in progress or is there other way to track it?

What does your application say...u can track it's progress...does it say Eligibility review? [/quote]

If you do an upfront medical I'll guess you have 70% chances of visa approval.

As for me, I congratulate.

Thank you

Considering it is winter you could let them know you came in early so you could acclimatize that should be enough reason to travel early.First week in December is okay.

Alright bro.. You're correct. Just checked. My brother in law said he checked existing offers

You can travel anytime from November

Alright... Thanks.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by henricson(m): 12:56pm On Oct 20, 2018
Austacus:

You can travel first week of December cause they are aware of the extreme winter condition. Canada is a polar region not a temperate region like the US, UK etc so they will welcome you cause you want to acclimatize the terrible weather condition.

Just bear it in mind that air ticket price increases every week.
Will advice you to book as soon as possible

Alright bro... Thanks.

Hello all,

My Visa was approved last week and I received a correspondence letter this morning and a counterfoil yesterday.

I will like to make some clarifications on the correspondence letter. I have submitted my passport for the visa but I haven't gone to collect it back.

1) the expiry date on the counterfoil and correspondence letter reads 30/11/2019. Is this the same duration that will be stamped on my passport? I am starting my program in Jan 2019 and the duration of study exceeds this date.

2) the correspondence letter also reads that I will be issued study permit at the border. What is the difference between the study permit and the Visa I was issued?

3) the correspondence letter also reads I have to be in Canada before 30/11/2019. What happens after this date? Even if I am in Canada. Do I have to start applying for visa again?

Pls someone should enlighten me on this as it's really bothering me.

Thank You

Dear May, June and July applicant who has their eligibility review started .. it is evident that the security Check and criminality checks been passed.. just eligibility review should start with the VO... so let’s pray and be hopeful and believe that the VO sleeping on our files will respond

The online route for now has been transferred to Kenya but for applicants who submitted in May, June, July and August we don't know if they also transferred them to Kenya or has been assigned to various V.Os in London before now, why the silence from London concerning application that's what we don't know. Can two different processing centre work on a route at the same time?

Just giving heads up on a very fast application approval...my cousin's application, submitted online application October 9th, biometrics 12th, passport request 19th...undergraduate though...and he wasnt sure because mine took about 3months.so its never too late to get a TRV...dnt compare your application with someone else's own, for those expecting an approval lateness is not denial, be positive and steadfast in your prayers!...wish you guys the best!

APPROVAL ALERT!
Application Submitted: August 24, Paper Route
Program: PhD, McGill
Medical Request: September 28
Medical Done: October 2
Medical Passed: October 9
Approval: October 17

I submitted LOE to explain why I chose the program and Canada, the source of funding, family ties, and my willingness to come back to Nigeria.

N.B: (1) I intentionally did not submit police report since I have read of approvals without it, and I believe CIC will request for it if they need it
(2) I only submitted the funding letter from my supervisor which covers tuition and living expense. I did not submit any personal account details
