Not necessary but some lgbt people choose to come out as a way of disseminating awareness to heterosexual people that lgbt people exist and to increase their understanding of other people different from them (straight people). Some heterosexual people in Nigeria have never met nor known an lgbt person before nor understand the true meaning of sexuality. With more and more coming outs like this, Nigerians will start to get more and more comfortable with and understanding of the diversity of human sexuality.

lol there are only 26 countries that legalised marriage and China and Japan and Korea (both ) aren't included , even some part of the UK don't legalise it so every other country is backward?

Note that they legalised gay MARRIAGE not just tolerate homosexuality.
Backward countries are no where near that - they criminalise the private act - 14 years in 9ja's case!

It can be mental illness caused by wrong exposure, experiment or unbringing leading to hormonal deficiency or imbalance which can be cured or corrected with science. Also cases of genital miswire (man having a breast or woman having a phallus) can be corrected. Many with other mental sickness want to be accepted and left alone too.

Yes conversely a kid can develop hormonal and psychological imbalance out of sharing a room with adults who expose themselves to him (not necesary physically directly induce him) to the extent of arousing sexual urge towards thesame sex. Probably same to girls who become lesbians. If serious attempt is put/made towards curing and rectifing this thing instead of fueling it with its acceptance likely.....
