FATIGUE RACING THROUGH THEM, THEY RACED TO A STOP WHEN THEY FINALLY RAN INTO THE WOODS....
Adrenaline licking through their spines.. They breathe heavily each of them sucking in the breathe they can take......

"Are we saved now...?Levi ask with pants breathe...

They look around each unsure of where they are or where they were heading to, the tunnel has completely led them to a different place..... They look at the big mahoni woods, birds twirling and making all sorts of sounds from the tree branches...

Exhausted... Pandora sat down under a shade.. Her stomach rumbled...making it so bleak on her face that she was hungry.....

"I think so"Katherine replied as she sat down herself beside Pandora...

Francis swallowed hard,he scan his eyes around to see if everywhere was secured.. His head keep screaming to him they should keep moving forward, they are not really saved until they are back home at Mogula.... "We need to keep moving"He said breaking the silence....

"Can't we just rest.... "Levi interjects.... His heart still racing from the race... "At least for a while"

"There is no resting Levi, we need to keep moving forward... The guards must have found out by now that we've escaped.. They will be on our trail, resting will mean getting to us.. Which is something we cant afford.... "

thunder growled sending down lightning... Followed by light splash of rain that began to pour down....

"It's going to rain.. Cant we find a shade to stay.... "Levi blared from behind them.... He drag his feet when he couldn't keep up.....

"We need to get as far away from here.. Unless you want to go back there... "Francis replied hastening his feets.... Shock seize him when thunder clapped again making his body to quivered at the sound of it....

Something in Levi shivered as he thought about Francis words,he wonder what will happen if King Jafar get them again... It will be an instant kill this time.... A bullet of rain hit his hand.. He look up at the cloud, he could only see the rain a few inch above him dropping on his head.. He sniff and sneeze when it drop on his nose... Just as he thought... The rain made an unexpected downpour......

"We need to get shade...... "he shouted when his body began to drain wet with thuds of heavy downpour .....

"There.... "Francis pointed At a large tree with lots of branches.. The leaves absorbing the heavy downpour, making light water drop under its wing.... "Lets take shade there.. "

Without hesitation, they ran towards the direction of the tree.... The rain wetting their clothes and making it gummed to their body.. Their faces dropping water profusely... Watching away their sweaty body...
It wasn't long before they took shade under the maponi large tree....

They wipe a gleem of water from their faces spreading and flapping their soaked clothes.....

Levi swallowed when he stare at Pandora, the water flowing slowly from her face made her more beautiful than before, the dusty stains on face were now washed off by the rain....

"Why aren't you leading us out of here, you led me here, you can lead us out"

He sigh when Francis words interrupted his thoughts... He look around, all he could where lines if big trees with large branches... He'd no idea where they are or where they are heading to.... "This wasn't the route we took when we came... I don't know this place, i have never seem it before.... "

"The coccus..... "She muttered, trepidation in her voice.... "We need to go back... "...

"Wait... You sound so tense...."Katherine said walking towards her.... "What is the coccus.... ?

Katherine shook her head.... "If i have, i wouldn't be asking.... "

Pandora took a deep breathe.... "When i was a child, my grandfather use to tell us a story about a man who was comdemned to death for a crime he didn't commit, my grandfather said that at the verge of death the man cursed the land and sealed the curse with his blood....

"And he died but his curse lived on.... It became a dreaded monster and killed the inhabitants of the land sparing no one, no child,except one man... "Levi interjects...

"You know the story? Pandora ask...

Levi sigh"Yes i know, my mother tells me the story everyday when i was young.. I grew up with it.. But it's just a story, it never happened.... "

"That's the irony of it, it happened... "

"So what are you saying now? Francis ask anxiously...

"That land was coccus.... "Pandora boom out.

"So are you saying the man from the story still exists?katherine ask

"The man doesn't... But the curse does.... "

"I don't still understand.... "Francis interjects... "If this is coccus and it was once a village as you mentioned in the story, why aren't there any house... ?

"Because everything was destroyed"Levi replied shapily ......he gritted then continue.... "My mother told me that when the curse arrived, it turns friends against friends.... Brothers against brothers, everyone became everyone's enemy like it was controlling them, telling them what to do.... They started with destroying their houses... Breaking them, everything to dust... Then they destroyed their farms.. Their food products.. They slaughtered their animals and fed them to the vultures... When farmine came.. It became a race for survival.. They started killing theirselves... Eating human flesh... They became cannibals... It continued like that until it was just one person.. "

"And what happened to the one person left? Katherine ask...

"That's the misery of it all... "Pandora replied... "No one knows what happened to him,the story didnt say but it was believed he still lives and he lives in this lands.... "

"When did this even happened...? Francis ask....

"The story started with 200years ago.... "Levi replied with folded hands

"So you saying the man is still alive after 200years....."Francis blasted out...

"Do you know what the man was named.....? Pandora queried...

"How would i know.... ?

"He was named the infamaccumuno meaning the one who derives pleasure in eating human flesh..... "She quickly shivered at her thoughts

"I have heard that name before... My father has mentioned it, he said the infamaccumuno tears off human flesh and it taste good in his mouth... "Katherine said

"Oh no..... He is here... "Pandora said with shaking mouth

"How do you know that?francis snarled irritated... "Even if it's true, he must have been dead or gone far away from here since there is no one left to eat... "

"He never leaves... The curse binds him here... "Pandora cut in..... "This is where the curse was made, this is where it resides.. It never leaves... It just wait for people to come then he devour them...."

"But we are not part of the village.... "Francis snarled..

"It doesn't matter... Whoever sets foot on the land automatically becomes a prey... We must go back.... "

"Go back to our death.. You are free to leave if that's what you want.. "Francis resounded...

"We will find another way out.... "

"There is no other way out... Like you said. Is now or never.. Curse or not,monster or not, we are moving forward once this rain stops... "
