Breaking: KDSG reinstates 24-hour curfew

The Kaduna State Government has reinstated a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna metropolis and environs, Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru, Kateri and Kachia. The curfew is effective from 11am today, Friday, 26th October 2018 and will remain in force until further notice

This is a necessary step to help maintain peace as we mourn the death of HRH Agom Adara, who we lost in the early hours of today to the criminals who abducted him last week.

The Kaduna State Government calls for calm in all our communities. The criminal elements who perpetrated this crime should not be allowed to divide us.

This is a struggle between good, decent, law-abiding people trying to uphold the peace and criminals who want to divide and destroy. It is not a struggle between religious or ethnic groups. Let no criminal find succour in faith or tribe.

Let us unite against every criminal activity. Let us stand together as human beings who have a right to live in peace.

Kaduna is completely in a lawless state, imagine killing the Agwom Dara like a common criminal, where his head was scattered with bullets. The stupid Hell Rufais government thinks another rounds of curfew will calm the youths down, instead of going after the killers, thereby pacifying the youths.

When others in Kaduna were killed by the terror attack, did the Kaduna state government put curfews in place to mourn them? Did they mourn them at all?

They should place a 24-hour curfew on Aso Rock, until 2019, so that we can we can recover what is left of our country before 2019's Atikulation.

There is no price too much for peace we must seek peace and live it.The death of Agom Adara is a great setback to peace process since the recent crisis broke out in Kaduna and his abductors and killers must be arrested and the full weight of law must be brought to bear upon them.It is crystal clear that those kidnappers have those that are backing them behind the scene and the killing was done to aggravate or fuel the existing crisis.The politicians should refrain from involving defenceless and helpless civilians who have been worst hit already by economic concerns in murky and dirty politics.

When people voted El Rufai, a confirmed ethnic bigot and Fulani fundamentalist, I wonder what they were expecting.

Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter. Killing of the HRH was symbolic and necessary to instal an Emir in that Southern Kaduna region. Personally, I never expected that the kidnapped HRH would return alive. That would be foolhardy. Just watch how that locality will become an Emirate. Slowly. If Boko Haram can do it and kill of moderates Muslim heads and emirs in Borno State in order to colonise and Sharia-rise the lands, you think these Fulani herdsmen militia colonialists will spare you Christians in the Middle Belt?
