Breaking: KDSG reinstates 24-hour curfew

The Kaduna State Government has reinstated a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna metropolis and environs, Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru, Kateri and Kachia. The curfew is effective from 11am today, Friday, 26th October 2018 and will remain in force until further notice

This is a necessary step to help maintain peace as we mourn the death of HRH Agom Adara, who we lost in the early hours of today to the criminals who abducted him last week.

The Kaduna State Government calls for calm in all our communities. The criminal elements who perpetrated this crime should not be allowed to divide us.

This is a struggle between good, decent, law-abiding people trying to uphold the peace and criminals who want to divide and destroy. It is not a struggle between religious or ethnic groups. Let no criminal find succour in faith or tribe.

Let us unite against every criminal activity. Let us stand together as human beings who have a right to live in peace.

Once, Buhari is returned either by hook or crook, they won't have any need for Yoruba support again, and that is when they would begin their offensive there!! The East and to a lesser extent, parts of Niger Delta except Cross River and Edo, is where they would have serious problems because these parts are not just homogeneous religious and ethnic wise (SE), which makes infiltration very difficult, they are also long wary of the Muslim north and would immediately react aggressively unlike the Middle belt and SW that would rather politicize it. The Biafra agitation would also heighten during such period and Nigeria will be at the risk of either a civil war or peaceful break up through foreign intervention that wouldn't want a civil war in a country of 200 million considering the impact it will have on the rest of Africa and Europe.
Mark this post today, all these scenario will come to pass if Buhari remains beyond 2019.

That's very far from true. First and foremost you need to understand the system of governance in place for both tribes even before the advent of the white man.
Infact, the Ibibio and Igbo have an alliance that is older than Nigeria itself and have gone to war together twice in union against a common enemy (first was against the obong of Calabar and secondly the civil war).

Make out time to study history and you'll learn a lot. Also the perception of Igbo dominion over other ethnicities of the old eastern region is mere Phantom imagination. Unlike the in the North where the Fulani was outrightly installing Emirs at every nook and cranny, the Igbo did no such thing but were revered as at then due to their economic dominance in Nigeria at large then thus drawing envy (palm oil was Nigeria's most valuable export and was mainly sourced from igboland as well as coal earnings from Enugu which is akin to today's oil and gas. Go study Colonial reports on Nigeria from 1900 and even before if in doubt. PH as a city became what it is due to Coal from Enugu. It was basically a port city for coal export hence the name Port Harcourt in honour of Harcourt)
This gave the Igbo an edge over all other ethnicities in the old eastern region and thus the perception of domination.

i am an indoor person (chronic one). Even when curfew no dey, i dey declare curfew for myself . My neighbors hardly see my face. So to me, it's just a normal way of life. I just opened the link, and what was written there is almost word-to-word with what I wrote above!! If someone like TY Danjuma who unarguably has strong and reliable contacts in both the army, government and other classified information could be this alarmed and worried, then it speaks volumes!! I can predict with near accuracy what will happen in Nigeria between 2019 and onwards. My only happiness is that Igboland has several advantages such as
1. Homogeneous in religion and ethnicity.

2. A fall-back option in Biafra (something that scares them to death).

3. A large, united and vociferous diaspora population that is ever ready to support us through money, protests and massive awareness in the global arena.

4. A large number of our people no longer believe in Nigeria, so when push comes to shove, many of us will be willing to fight dirty and if we are still bitter with what happened almost 50 years ago, then any serious hostility in Nigeria would certainly mean the end of the country.
