Even if they don't ask for it, try and get it to be on a safe side, remember the story of the biblical virgins. (NIN slip can suffice).

Please, I would to know how many applicants are accepted into the NA through the DSsc and SSC programs from each state?

More so, how many pushups and sit ups does one have to perfect and what's the time space for each?

@Mangojuice

Brotherly I greet you!

Please can you say something on flat foot as per SSC selection board??, I have a close pal that has it but not a very bad one. He is very fit, has strength and endurance to stand for a very long time. He is good to go on every other things aside from the flat foot.

Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks

To those asking of what to expect during interview, again this has being explicitly tackled by @Odinmbannamdi in a sister thread some inches above this thread. What we should be more concerned about at this stage is What and how to get shortlisted for the interview.
Cheers!!!!!!!

Could you please provide us a link to the said thread?

o boy start to dey run oh, i run regularly despite my work schedule. i think i will have to leave my car at home and do some walking for the last 3km to my house.

It's actually not out of place if you start running regularly to prepare yourself, but right now, acing the 3.2km race should be the least of your worries.

The moment you get into NDA, it becomes a taboo is walk around. You double to the parade ground, you double to the mess for your meals and double back, you double to the MRS for the first stage of medical screening. You double virtually everywhere you go.

I remember a funny but painful incident that happened on one of the days at NDA.

Abia and other A-state candidates covered up in threes and doubled to the mess for lunch. After having a wrap of hot eba and draw soup, we began to stroll casually back to the parade ground. We were just at the corner that diverts to MRS when one Captain sighted us and shouted "ehhhhh!!! you guys are forming Westlife formation on NDA ground abi Oya, all of you go down!".

People of God, that was we frog-jumpped from that place to the parade ground - a distance if almost 400meters. Guys nearly regurgitated the eba they ate. it would have been better for us if we didnt go to have lunch at all that day.

So my point is, when you get shortlisted and progress each day in the screening exercise, you will begin to get used to the hard life and you will find your body light enough to run for several kilometers without feeling a pinch

Boss odimbannamdi and GenAnsahcinc I just learnt that in NA enlistment there is nothing like zonal exam like in NAF and NN. it is just direct shortlistment for screening. what do you think one need to do to get shortlisted, and on what basis do you think they (NA) do this selection

I wish I could put ur name on number 30 but my guy even me can't put mine. Kidding though the truth of this whole army thing is down to whom u know, some say na random selection but me as a person did not believe because thousands applied and there are kings, reps, senators, generals, as well as prominent ppl that have wards who wishes to join and mind u this is Nigeria. But this is sure if we are destined to be taken it won't pass us by even with our little effort. Don't be scared if this is ur first time of trying some ppl have been trying for years and haven't given up so tighten ur belt pray and try ur best. Remember victory is from God alone
