The measure of accuracy of my model would determine if I'd monetize it. If it has a high accuracy, then I would definitely monetize.

I only got for Zenith bank from 2012 here: https://www.investing.com/equities/zenithbank-historical-data

Still yet to get all the data though undecided

Thanks.

..One thing you have to appreciate young man is that it cost money and time to accumulate and organize data, I get daily price list from my broker dating back to 2010 organized beautifully in excel format but its free becauss I patronise their service, what you are requesting for will not be hard if u have a good raport with major brokers in Nigeria.......

...People complaining about results churning out by flour companies should look closely at what has been happening to global wheat price. I think that's what @Agbalowomeri is trying to convey. Price of wheat has being on the rise late last year and just down a bit in the last 3 months. This to me might impact the overall profit margin of the flour companies (except the coy no dey buy dem products from "honest means in order to skyrocket their profits - which should be questionable).

...To have a robust model, go through NSE, and not a third party platform. Since it will be monitized, then be ready to part with some money too & don't rely on free things. Best of luck.

On a more serious note results from this consumer goods sector gives a clear picture of what is really happening in this country. Purchasing power of the middle class is getting wiped out and the painful reality is our politicians don't care.

Buhari is killing this economy, I dont care what kind of corrruption he his fighting...the worst that can happen to this economy now is for us to slip back into recesssion.

If Buhari wins in 2019...that would be my goodbye to nse or maybe hold unto one stock (GTB/Zenith) and move rest of my funds into Dollar($), because we would definitely witness another recession. The only thing keeping us now is Crude oil price.

you have seen the situation and captured it perfectly undecided

How can Buhari and his govt explain Nigeria 's economic state despite the increase in crude prices?

All in all, I am asking what do you all think about the future of Dangote sugar? Is it bleak?

Another question... does FCMB have people who do Market Making for them specifically? Their volume is quite large.

On Nigeria issue, due to high level of poverty in the land many has turn to farmers, and a lot has reduced the amount of food the consume, some are now on 101 ( eating only morning and night), While a lot find it difficult to eat even one mill a day. Flour are use to produce bread, indomie, Spaghetti and many others, many can not even afford money for most of this food stuff.

Then tell me where will flour companies make money, the civil servants monthly payment, technically has reduced by more than half. A worker that received #100,000 when 1 dollar was #180 and bag of rice was #8,000, are still receiving #100,000, some with pay cut, and currently 1 dollar is above #360 times two and bag of rice #18,000 also more than times two.

That mean, #100,000 payment then, is technically below #50,000, then what of those that received #50,000 and below. The level of poverty increased times two.

Many fall back in what their farm can produce, that's why many are not interested in flour product as such again, till economy improve. Flour rally last year because recession came by surprise, and many maintained a little with their former way of life with little saves the had, but when they understand the reality of the recession, the joined suit.

Expect upward movement in the flour companies when economy improve, may be when the government agreed on #30,000 minimum wage, that will help.
