This media narrative about KD leaving. LOL.

To where?

People talk like every team can afford him or can win with him.

The only thing that man cares about at this point is money. Nothing else.

Nothing about the whole "we knew he was moving" narrative makes sense. Two highly tensed people were involved in a scuffle and Draymond tried to get at KDs insecurities because Draymond is a nut-kicker. That is his persona.

KD is not moving anywhere. People can quote me after the season.

Bro, not every team in the NBA can, but I can assure you many teams in the NBA can afford KD. There is a reason why there is a lot of buzz surrounding KD's free agency and suspending Green without pays shows you how much the Warriors want to keep him away from the claws of other teams. KD's motivation has evolved over the past 3 seasons and if he wins a 3rd ring this season? it would even make it even more difficult to tie him to the motivation of winning a ring because like you said, the man wants his money.

If and only if, (please note I stressed if)Durant chooses to leave the Warriors, my brothers, all bets are off in the NBA!!!!! There are tons of teams that would come to play and the luxury tax would be the least of their problems. If KD decides to test free agency? The 2 LA teams will pursue him, the Mavs, Wizards, Knicks, Heat, Pelicans, Rockets and even my Celtics may take another shot even though the focus is AD at this time.

If he chooses to test free agency, you no go believe the kain offloading teams to offer, e go shock you sef.

Of course, I agree many teams can clear rosters and pay luxury tax for KD. The question is to what end? What is that one team that can afford to do that and still maintain their status as genuine championship contenders? Ziltch. Not one.

KD is a great player but not great enough to win anything with an unbalanced or poorly coached team. We have OKC evidence for that. Then he is a full grown celebrity at this point. No offence to New Orleans, Dallas etc but they are just suburbs. Boredom will roast him there. The lot of those other teams are dysfunctional and he can see it just as we can.

We also know he is very insecure. KD is not going to play in LA with Lebron and enhance Bron's legacy. Most of the seasoned analysts know this but keep churning out hot takes for ratings. In fact, of all the things Draymond would have said, the only thing that would have gotten to KD is Green reminding him that the team had won a ring before he got there and that certainly is the reason the team took his side and not Green's.

KD is a Green-apology away from re-signing with GSW. That is not to say he will end his career at GSW but I can bet almost anything, he will be a Warrior come the new building in SF next season.

If KD is the business man I think he is trying to be then now would be the worst possible time to leave Golden State. I'm pretty sure his coming to the Warriors had a lot to do with not just basketball but with other business interests (tech) with the budding real estate Mecca that the Chase Center and surrounding property would become I bet KD would want in on the pie somehow.

From a basketball standpoint there is nothing KD would do that would please the Bronsexuals and since he has never claimed to want to be in the GOAT category then I don't see why he would be bothered about proving anything to anyone by wasting his prime years elsewhere

Also consider that Golden State have been actively wooing KD, even taking him to the site before any other Warrior player (even Steph) the FO are very vested in keeping KD and if they had to choose between him and Draymond then Draymond gats go dey find new team be that. The heavy fine and suspension made that pretty clear whose side they were on. Bear in mind that with Steph missing 20-30 games these last couple of seasons it's become pretty clear that the Warriors simply can't afford to lose KD if they want to stay competitive and attractive enough for the fans to cough out prime money to watch

Apparently it looks like it. Towns is a mental midget at times. Based on his rookie season I thought he would be beasting every night on Embiid level by now but he allowed himself get intimidated by Jimmy Butler ( who the Sixers would be dumb to give that $180m/5yr max, his athleticism is slipping already)

Philly (Orlando can be unpredictable though)
Wizards
Heat
Celtics
Raptors
Bucks
Mavericks
Had that sneaky feeling Orlando would do something.

As for the Raptors well I completely forgot Dwane Casey was Detroit's coach. He would have told them to die on the line cos the way they rallied was insane

Had the Mavs winning but would never have thought the Mavs could win by 50. Wowzers!

Oga, you're acting like you just started watching NBA.

There's almost always a strange win everyday. This is not La Liga or EPL or ATP....

Warriors finished a season 73-9 but lost to teams like Lakers and Wolves that didn't get 35 wins. What of Warriors last season? Cavs? Dem upsets are everywhere

This season is even worse cos of all the trades that happened. Every team bar the Cavs, Hawks, Knicks and Bulls are unstable and these ones too have their days.

Skip straight wins in NBA. Nobody does that anymore...

never really liked the guy especially after costing his team a ring in 2016.

Glad he got fined. People come out to see KD, steph, and Klay not him.

After winning 3 championships you think KD's free agency would be only about winning?

How much more money do you think KD needs to make that will change his life? Not much I can tell you. The Lebrons..Jay Zs..Drakes..Kanyes of this world all live in California and they are his friends.

Then KD is a businessman. There are certain gigs and portfolio businesses he only got to know about because he was in and around the who are whos in California. Let me not even mention how strategic San Fransico is. You can't compare that life to any other state. Never mind the weather that is perfect for celebrities like him.

Notice I have not even mentioned winning which (in terms of passion) gets renewed every year. If you think people get tired of it, ask Jordan who till this day regrets retiring for almost 2 years.

The only thing keeping KD from re-signing is his insecurity. The man just loves being courted. He admitted that seeing the whole warriors ensemble come to pitch him made him make the decision. You can see the same warriors making similar not too subtle moves. First, they introduced him last during the ring ceremony. Next, he was taken to the site of the new building. And now Draymond even got suspended without pay for him. Those things get to him.

If you really think someone can win enough and make enough money to now go somewhere else to struggle and earn big, then he could have never left OKC nor would he have ever come to GSW. Other teams could have paid more for him.

Make no mistake, if he leaves, GSW will not be a 16-1 championship team like they did when he first got there, but GSW will still be the team to beat in the NBA that fact is very clear. Then the next thing will be where will KD go to?

Raptors? Cold Toronto? NY Knicks? To garner scoring titles whilst winning fckall? Clippers? Do you genuinely think that Clippers team will best OKC with Russell and PG in the playoffs?

So what about his friendship with Curry, Klay, Cook? His respect for Kerr? Bob Myers? He will throw everything away because Donkeymond lost the ball trying to play hero and they got into a spat?

Let us use our tongue to count our teeth. The man wants to be courted this off season. Neega created burner accounts to praise himself. I love him but that is how insecure he is. He will listen to a few pitches from teams that will largely brandish money at him (money he already has a ton of by the way) and then sign for GSW. It is what he was going to do from the jump. And no recent event has convinced me otherwise.
