drakura:Can you request a student copy so that you can use that for your admission. That way, you do not have to send to any school until you are admitted and you are sure you want to attend that school? |

Jaybeepictures:You should convince them about your intention to return to your current job, and then transit to other companies in the long term. Mixing up these plans may create a certain impression that you don't have a clear cut career goal. |

Please, my interview is scheduled for 3rd of December and here is my transcript for serious criticism. I appreciate as you take your time to go through it. VO: Why are you going to the US |

100kobo:Thank you bro..what if the vo asks for proof of return and i say i don't have, won't that raise a red flag? because right now I'm self employed. |

Jaybeepictures:I made recommendations based on the claim that you work with Jocereg Ltd. I am surprised you're job status has suddenly changed. You need to be consistent with your responses so that you don't kill your interview. How can you claim to work with Jocereg and also be self employed. I am unable to assist at this time as I am confused. |

please what are the most possible questions they ask during an F1 visa interview. |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by 100kobo(m): 10:59pm On Nov 16, 2018*. Modified: 6:20am On Nov 17, 2018 |
slamcole:For starters, let me commend your efforts for attempting to be original in your responses. But let me warn you not to be rattled in the event where these questions are rolled out in ways you didn't expect. For example, your second question should not be expected should you dispatch the first question in the solid manner you did. The responses on your second question would be useful when answering questions about Why this School/Course. WHY USM? Your first two bullet points are okay. But I can't say same about the third which sounds rather generic. What is it about the department of Biological Sciences that stands them out: an ongoing research, availability of an enhanced laboratory equipments, curriculum content and what have you. Please, talk in specific terms those appeals in the department that caught your fancy. STUDY PLAN: You may need to talk about your course structure, duration and core courses here. By the way, you should already have a research topic and not wait for the so-called committee to sit and select for you. SPONSORSHIP: Once you are asked about your sponsor, the best response will comprise your sponsor's identity and income source, and an indication of financial awards from the school (if any). You don't need separate questions to deliver these facets separately. If your sponsor is not your parent or personal funds, you should also prepare to talk about why your sponsor is willing to commit. Usually this will come as a separate question. Let me stop so far. |

100kobo:No bro, i only quoted another nairalander's post because it relates with me.. currently i am self employed , a photographer to be precise but i will be telling my vo i currently work at my former job where i resigned few months back so if I'm to say after my studies i will be coming to work at xoxo place and the Vo asks for proof of return which i don't have..won't it raise a red flag..or does showing proof of return really grant a successful interview? please help a bro |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by 100kobo(m): 11:13pm On Nov 16, 2018 |
Sirtenburg:Is that so? Lol Well, for the self-employed, you need to identify key areas back home, where your services and training would be applied in solving real-time problems. Your ability to make them key into your long term vision, can save the day. |

Jaybeepictures:Claiming to be a current staff member when you're not amounts to misrepresentation. At this point, my hands are tied as I'm unable to advice any further. |

Good day everyone. I just wanted to know why WES seems to be the most prevalently used credentials evaluation agency? Is there anything wrong with the others like, "Educational Credentials Evaluators" and AES. Thanks Chiefs. |

If asked why the change from Wayne State University(Industrial Engineering) to ETSU (Engineering Technology) , why ETSU now. Is it OK tell the V.O that I have an offer of 50% scholarship from the school and Which would help me conveniently offset some bills, that can be used for other project.. My next interview is 29th of Nov. Please I need help here... 100Kobo and Lagosismyhome, walspring, and the rest members of this great family. Thanks. |

Thanks bro.....I will work on them. In my case, I was offered an assistantship which covers the whole estimated expenses. Will you still advise I go with a statement of account. More so, the account statement I have reflects just half of the total estimated expenses. 100kobo: |
