Super happy. Other girls will get Swedish clubs and top Euro clubs with this Coach's connection. If we win AWCON, I expect Amarachi Okoronkwo to move out after.
Ajibade is due a big move too.

I don't feel so bad for Ghana because they have the brightest bunch of young players coming from their U17. I believe those girls would best most teams in this tournament.

Ghana is actually declining. They have always had good U17 players, and never do well at U20. The progression is not there. We are quite lucky in that aspect. The next 3 generation of super Falcons is already known. Ihezuo, Ajibade, Biawo, Okeke, Basirat Amoo, etc. We are very lucky.
That is why I laugh when I hear that the gap is closed in Africa. South Africa's so called speedy players are players our U17 and U20 used as chewing sticks.
I just pray we meet SA again. They will hear wen!

Ghana U17 are the real deal. I have not seen an African team play this well since our U20s at Canada. Their striker is a special player already with 6 goals in matches. That team would trash their senior side

I don't think they had faced a tactically decent team yet.Their match against Finland really exposes their loopholes. Am still waiting for them to face the big countries.

If they do not move up as needed, Oparanozie can be brought in. Jokes apart, Ajibade is good. I’d rather Ihezuo come in for Oparanozie. As you said, Ihezuo tracks back and presses opposing defenders well. Her strength will complement the pace and trickery of Oshoala and Ordega.

I see no reason why someone at the very top of her game should think of retirement now. She can play into her 40s considering the shape she is in right now. Retirement should be based on performance and not just how old the player is getting

We all love Onome. I do love her. The type I feel for very good, skillful and dedicated Falcon players who are also beautiful. Coupled with the replacement may be not be as good as she was in her hey days. Stella Mbachu was in this class. Since she left, Falcons has not had a good right winger with the speed and the brain. It may be very difficult to replace an Oparanozie type of 9. Same with Onome type of Central Defender. She had kept her position of generations of Falcons for a reason.

But we need to move forward. Imagine, we are wondering how she was able to perform. This means, we know she is old. It is time for her to ease off and frankly I do not expect to see either Onome or Oparanozie on the team after this assignment. They have simply lost their sharpness. They are good based on experience but a skillful young player will disgrace them. IF not here, but at the world cup. Zambians were not a very hard opponent. How about Cameroonians who will be very physical for 90 minutes. We need more than experience against them because they will stretch the Falcons physically simple.

Beside Ajibade, Nwabuoku is the worst player I have ever seen play for Nigeria in international competition. Sophia Omidji is a joke.

I have never overcome the surprise how this girl made U20 and Florence Ijamilusi did not. Ijamilusi is one of the best bet for Nigeria in the midfield along with Ucheibe. This young girl tracks the ball better than any player in both U17 and U20.

We could have done better but I must admit that Chikwelu had a smashing performance today. Ordega was my woman of the match though. I think this might be Frany's best tournament for the Super Falcons yet. she is our MVP so far.
