Loving heavenly Father, I thank You that You are in control of every situation of our lives and that You know every one of our needs, as well as the dear desires of our heart.

Lord,, You have promised that, “before they call I will answer”, and so I am calling on You today 1st of December 2018 to please answer this prayer request of mine.. for every one of us visa application to be approved.

Lord, You know how important it is for us to get this application approved and You understand the difficulties that have arisen.. as well as the problematic delays that so often happen, when seeking visa approval.

I pray that in Your grace and mercy You would allow this application to be approved quickly and without delay in this last month of 2018. Thank You that You are a God Who hears and answers the prayers of Your children.. when  we come to You with open hands and a humble heart. I pray in Jesus name,

Amen

No it's not. This is the perfect time. Mine took some months before they gave me admission tho. It might also depend on the department you're applying to.

Toobie:

Hello People

Please am applying for a M.sc at the University of Manitoba.it was started on there website that application takes 4 - 16weeks for admission letter and CIC 17 weeks for process student visa.

My Question: is it to late to process fall admission starting September 2019. Urgent answer please .Thanks in Anticipation .
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by cychristaa: 9:40am On Dec 01, 2018
Just be patient. I think I applied July 4th or so. Then they offered me admission around mid November. I sent an email to them asking what's up n all that. (not to admissions in general but to my department)

JustMellow:
Is there any prospective Masters student that applied to Manitoba University? I applied since middle of May but still no single update rather "application under review by the department for 5 months and some days now.

All my emails sent to them tends to be generic response.

I swear, they should just approve all the May/June/ July applicants that have been waitng since forever. Cos anything short of an approval will definitely spoil our christmas. It shall end in praise.
blaugrana82:
It's December 1st and we are yet to get any feedback on our visa application journey since June. God please touch the hearts of these VOs and let it end in praises. God this year is almost at its tail. The best consolation for this long wait is a swift approval. So help us God!!!

Application Approved on the 23rd of Nov.

First application was denied in January and reason was based on Financial ground.

2nd Application was submitted in September

What I did differently:

I prayed

Did medical insurance

Tuition deposit of 47,000 CAD

Shorten my SOP to just 6 lines and straight to the point

I prayed

I prayed

I prayed

I prayed

I will be travelling sometimes in December to do an aviation upgrade program.

47,000 CAD paid as tuition deposit - Are you kidding? Or you meant to write 4,700 CAD

I used The Children’s Practice in Ikoyi http://www.childrenspractice.com that is their website. Most people know Qlife and IOM but there are 3 different places you can do medicals in lagos. It costs 28,350 because I did mine on Saturday. But usually it’s 28,000 or so

They're not recommended by IRCC anymore

@justobserving1 You may want to look into this!!!!!!

Frankrobbn1:
Hello Honourable Men and Women. Greetings to you all.

I will like to bring to your notice that Children Practice Ikoyi, Lagos is no longer among the accredited medical panel physician's by CIC. Their accreditation is pending until the purchase of all newely required medical laboratory equipments prior to the conducting of medical exam again. If you've completed your medical exam with them in the past, count yourself lucky. I thought to share this vital information with you all. Do have a brilliant weekend.

Done upfront on Wednesday. IOM said it would take three(3) working days for them to send it to CIC. Which will be Monday

Someone on this thread told me that two weeks ago. I didn't want to angrily or rudely reply. I just logged out of nairaland to cool of the anger. How can you advise someone that has applied since May/June that even deferred from Sept to January to now defer to May again? Painful shit.. Lol
