I tried updating my redmi note 5 to miui10 but it got stuck @ 51% for over 3days. Please what do I need to do next? Thanks!

Hey guys. Good morning. I seriously need your help. My Mi Max 2 USB cable had some cuts in several places. Due to negligence, I didn't deem it necessary to change it. Then one faithful evening after work, I plugged it and it didn't charge. Then I started perceiving the odors coming from the charging port. I tried another cable and it still didn't work. Then it became obvious that the charging port was bad.

I took it to computer village, ikeja. The guy searched and searched for it buh couldn't find it, then he opted to 'convert' it to the regular (Blackberry) charging port.

But my friends, ever since then, I've not been enjoying the battery life of my phone cos it takes ages to charge to even 20%. The highest I've got was 73%.

Please guys I'm in dire need of your help. Whoever has the charging port, or knows where I can get it should please help me.

Please has anyone successfully changed the touch screen for Redmi note 4x, without changing the screen, like separating a cracked touch screen, and changing it while retaining the original LCD?

I need to know if I can do this for my phone, and how well it works. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply, I've got the same issue with mine...touch just stopped working, didn't fall or nothing. You plan on getting the complete lcd then?

Nope, this would be first. I'll probably just take it to someone who has the screen already, eliminates the risk of buying a bad one online

Thank God my r6 pro landed today via jumai but its like i bought the chinese version cos even though i changed the language to english, the phone wan use mandarin injure me and am finding it hard to install whatsapp and facebook apps; incase if person fit help me with how to manage this chinese version and by the way, the phone interphase feels like iphone.
