I did a visa application with the hope of going to the US for Christmas 2018 but my interview date is March 2019, as i couldn't get an earlier date to make is for Christmas.

I will like to know how i can edit the already submitted DS 160 application form such that the application would now be for my son and I,
I intend to go to the US for summer 2019 with him.

Hi all I have been having a hard time scheduling an appointment for visa interview.The site is not coming up I have tried 3 different browsers on my laptop,not successful.Decided to use my phone I was able to get to where I enter my username and password but it keeps on giving me the error message we cannot validate your captcha. I have tried several times since yesterday till now.Is anyone else experiencing this .what is the way foward I need to get an appointment on time.

Please I need an advice on this platform. I had been to the US 3times in the last 6yrs. The 1st&2nd trips were for training and the last one was made in October this year, self sponsored as I already left the coy thru which I got the VISA initially. I went so that I could use my VISA which was about to expire which I did successfully. I spent 1 week in the US and returned home. In all the trips, I never overstayed. Now I look forward to traveling with my family (My wife and our child) in my next journey during my leave next year but I am scared to apply with them due to the fear of denial which I read here everytime. I don't want to do my drop box alone this time for I will like to travel with them as I said earlier. Both of them have not travelled out before. My VISA has equally expired. What are the possible ways out? What are my chances of getting our VISAS approved as a family? How can I manage the whole situation? Or shld i just jejely go and renew my own alone. Abegi oooo. Pls advise me oooo. Seyewest, omobendel and odas. I await your reply.

Clear cache on all your browser. If that does not work, try use a different IP e.g. a different network connection or just download IP changer, just Google it.

I'm not sure giving them your international passport with US visa will work this time.... Since your visa has expired maybe you should request for interview with your family but the problem is that, you may not get the same interview date with them (Not sure about how it work).
In case you want to have your interview with your family please go with your bank statement and also your wife work/job matters as well.

please advice i applied with my family and we where denied like two times last year and my consign is if i want to apply again without my family going with me to the embassy and my wife and children going on their own to the embassy will it not contradict them self in future if i am given and the other family goes and will they not see it in the system that i have been given the visa.

I am in the Same boat as you. I submitted my passport as well as my moms for renewal. This was our second renewal. The B1/B2 visas expired June of this year. I submitted both passports for dropbox on the 22nd November. i checked CEAC website for status update and it says case opened 23rd November and case last updated 23rd November. I then sent an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com to check the status from there and response was THERE IS NO STATUS UPDATE FOR THE PASSPORT NUMBER SUBMITTED. today is 13th December and i am worried as to what is happening.

Getting a Visit Visa to go see your boyfriend/girlfriend is very difficult. This is because the possibility of you deciding to stay with your friend and not come back is very high.

So unless you have travelled to many First World countries, and/or have a very high paying job which you have worked for a long period of time, and/or have a robust account (not so important), the chances of you getting the Visa are very slim.

However, the choice is yours with the right decision to take.

The process of applying for Visit Visa is pretty straightforward. Fill a D160 form. Go to gtbank, pay for B1/B2 Visa. Then open a profile with ustraveldocs and key in your receipt of payment (MRV number) and DS160 form (confirmation number). Schedule your interview date and get set for your interview.

Please advise. I have visa interview on the 24th of dec. If visa is approved, please confirm when passport would be ready considering the Christmas break as i have a business trip to another country n dec 30th which i have to attend unfailingly.
