wow! goodnews bro. God is surely great!. just before your travel date. congrats.
could u list the documents u submitted here? I plan to apply in March. thankx you had a virgin passport?
yes sir...virgin passport
I made sure all my documents were photocopied in A4 size including pictures
my house utility bills
family pictures whilst am away for the visit(make sure you guys don't look hungry so they don't think you trying to run because things are not well with I in Nigeria)
my I.D cards
my sponsors utility bills, house agreement, working permit papers, company's payslip, invitation letter ,consent letter,my cover letter that includes my trip cost....I budgeted my sponsor would be spending 10pounds per day through d 13 days visit, etc
they were quite much but I try to make sure I don't add uneccesary documents,
look good don't look hungry so they don't think u trying to run...also look decent.
in all, study your checklist well and try to provide at least 70% of your checklist requirement... checklists usually vary....also every formulae is different...dont compare what I summited with yours.
when u print out your checklist ,read your application over and over and act like u are the clearance officer and study the mind.... don't lie an expensive lie if at all you plan lieing

Congratulations.

I noticed you didn’t include your bank statement, which is really what affected our visa, even though submitted the sponsors details.

@justwise do you think if we reapply and exclude the personal statement, will this affect us?

like I said every applications has different formulae and checklist...
am not applying to go school in Great Britain....
mine is family visitor visa not student visa, and I boldly indicated in my cover letter that my sponsor will be fully funding my trip.
when filling the form online also, when asked if I have any saving or income I indicated no,I have no savings...mine not work for u...I was very truthful about every thing
If your application is straight forward ,depending on the crowd,u should get your visa between 5working days even without priority

Not only school....I took part in an hackathon(risk assesment management for west africa)and my team emerged as one of the winning team where offered 2500 dollars to complete our task and we swore an oath to complete it by next year which I included the pic.
I also added all my receipts from 100lvl till date....course forms from 100lvl till date...etc

like I said what work for me might not work for someone else...in all study the checklist well, impress your clearance officer but don't over do it,and above all be truthful.....don't joke with those guys...they might even go as far as monitoring the number and email u used to apply....
My other uncle was denied visa last year not because he wasn't fit but the clearance officer detected where he took a loan 4 days after applying for the visa..funny enough he applied for the loan weeks before he even applied for the visa only for the loan to be granted later on.

Congratulations on getting your visa with all the hurdles you had to cross in a short time.
You weren't interviewed though. The experience you described is the standard procedure for biometrics. Remember, those Abuja and Lagos offices are just submission centres. The interview proper is also organized in the centre via an on-screen skype interview (with their natives.)
Also, for those who are wondering, They now ask to press the green button (good) to show you are satisfied with their service before you exit the centre. (However, any anyone can press the yellow(average) or even red (bad)depending on how he/she personally rates the service)
Its just for survey purposes and won't affect the application.

@justwise. I have been unable to secure an appointment date on the UK VISA website. The dates are simply not highlighted and therefore not clickable. I checked both DEC., 2018 and Jan., 2019. The only available date was 21st of DEC in Abuja, which unfortunately I can not make.
Kindly give any advice on how to proceed.
