Lafarge crews... YOUR DARLING LAFARGE IS PRINTING NAIRA LEGITIMATELY AGAIN VIA A NEW RIGHTS ISSUE..
A COMPANY THAT SOME MEMBERS OF NSEMPA ARE EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO
A LOGICAL QUESTION IS TO ASK DZ COMPANY WITH UNFULFILLED POTENTIAL... WHAT HAVE THEY ACHIEVED WITH PAST RIGHTS ISSUE?

with the recent agreement with diamond. currentprice dont like access bank anymore. better to stay far away from this bank till things settle. recent spike in price is an opportunity to bail out.

@ one gentle guy.... The future of banking lies in the power of technology... Not acquiring more branches. I can beat my chest on dz, in another 25 to 30 yrs time, more bank branches would be closed. Who knows when CBN is going to introduced digital banking, NUBAN portability, mobile banking (telecom companies are pressuring CBN to grant them licenses)
Like you mentioned, the best bet would have been for access to continue growing in the track of Zenith, GTB and builds her brand.
What banks need now is heavy investment in technology, fewer branches and futuristic service delivery

A MOTIVATING AND AN INSPIRING STORY OF HERBERT WIGWE... THE MAN WHO NEVER SAYS NO TO ANYTHING...
The interview granted by Wigwe, he made mention of his ambition to grow the bank he started from the scratch to one of the largest in the world
Now, he is fulfilling it.
A challenge to us all

Let me play the devil's advocate here.

What if sellers depress the share price of Access Bank and Wigwe decides to back away from Diamond Bank deal? Is the deal binding or open to refusal?

Yes ooo. I jaa at the slightest provocation. I made some sells today. CP knows where I have been.

I have been scared that both BBM and Agba are hopeful that index will touch 28k, then Brent started it's skelewu dance. I don't believe in coincidence.

honestly, Access on it own is juicy at cp fundamentally. i can hold and be happy even if price fall below N7 but the agreement with diamond doesn't go well with me. Access is known to be smart negotiator, how come access valued a dead bank more than what it worth while alive.

if the sellers depress the share price and wigwe back away from deal. it an opportunity to enter at a cheaper price. the only thing i have control on is to take back my capital and watch how things work out. there is always mkt tomorrow

Why I said you should let him be is that many here have called him out on different occasions but he didn't honour it and he's been visiting NL.
Can't force him I think. He will come when he's ready.

CP you really think Access is Father Christmas to just offer to pay 3.13 + 1 naira for a “dead bank” ?
Hmm i think there’s a lot you and I don’t know about diamond bank and only those in the banking sector knows..
Now, Access is not the only one in line willing to throw money on this same dead bank.
The Carlyle group are ready if only the Dozie’s will accept their terms but no! they prefer Access bank..
which shareholder go get mind to pump in more cash on top him 20 billion naira loss If the bank is truly “dead” ?
Uzoma is diamond bank’s problem and both Access and Carlyle knows..
Any back out from the deal, will be from diamond bank’s end and I’m suspecting the carlyle’s..no depress on Access banks share price will make Access back out if diamond bank shareholders agree to this deal..

...And the rumored right issue that we are yet to see on nse corporate disclosure IF true, seem like a luring grin grin why everything happening the same time? because diamond people go still benefit from here too.

Anyway make I go back to BBM glass house dey watch things on 4D.. me too shock when I see 3.13 grin grin grin Access add 13kobo to my 3 naira dream..This can only be the hand work of God grin grin grin
