Exactly 10 days after you submitted. I think the panicking should start after 10 days since you submitted.

Thanks for your inputs. I am going to re-write the test early next year.
Osemigho:

Practice and redo ielts like your life depends on it. Once is just a trial. Only a few pass it once. Coming as a student, when you qualify for EE, is a waste of time and money. Get in with EE and study if you want. Only PR guarantee your stay in Canada. Canadian government can stop, or make harder, EE and work permit anytime and you cant hold them to it because you spent thousands of dollars studying. Go and ask those that graduated when the UK changed their work permit rules. Opportunity usually is once in a lifetime. Always grab the best when you can.

Shalom

Please i need your Inputs, help a brother

Hello gurus

I need your input. I just started my process to school in Canada, I am graduate of Computer Engineering and also Certified in CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate but my Cgpa is abit low 3.24which from my findings i can't get into Masters directly. So i applied to one of the Colleges in Ontario George Brown College GBC for Post Graduate Certificate mid last month for fall of 2019. A friend of mine of mine who is doing is BSC in Canada is telling me that Canada rarely give visa permit to college applicants, that i should apply to do BSC again that i have a better chance of getting visa through a University Admit. I need advice on what to do because i going through that BSC route will be something else, what will i write in my SOP that i have been doing since 2008 since i left SEC sch and can't tell them i have BSC and want to do another BSC. My question is this are there any Universities that do PGD which is a pathway to direct Masters, Are there Universities which that will accept my my Cgpa for direct Masters in Computer Engineering or should i just run with the College PGD application and get admit and package a strong Visa Application.

I am still reading previous threads currently in Part 12 where Osemigho,Maziude,CanadianNurse,bluegirl080115 etc where sharing their stories but i need answers to these questions time is no man's friend.

Landing gist: Flew Ethiopian airlines, flight was great, enough food enough drink. Flight was long though, 5hours plus to Addis Ababa, 7hours to Dublin and 7hours to Toronto. Went to get my study permit and sin. Immigration and customs didn't check my bags. But I'm kinda lonely. Everyone minds their business in Brampton. Na the Whiteman style sha.

Good evening all. Though I'm still going through the other threads but the little I've seen is quite impressive and encouraging. Please I'd like to find out if there's anybody doing a masters in any Entrepreneurship related course in Canada. I'm planning to apply to St.Mary and I'm still applying to the university of Waterloo. I need help in writing my letter of intent and also probably someone in the university doing the same course for guidance. Thanks so much in advance.

Depending on some factors, you may qualify for EE even with being self employed. You can also use your NYSC experience if it falls under NOC 0,A or B and if you can get the necessary reference for it.

Read the first few pages at least and follow the links there, after which you can ask your questions, I am sure they would assist you. Find the link below https://www.nairaland.com/4843199/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/240#up

Good day All,

I submitted my study permit application online on 16th October, did my biometrics on 22nd October.

I got medical request on 5th December and did my medical on 10th. Medical updated to passed on 16th December makes it 6th day today, I have not gotten any update.

Please how long is it gonna take to get PPR/Approval. My program is starting in January 7th.

Good morning
You don't have to panic.
The possibility of resuming before the 7th of January is very slim for you cause it will take some days to process your passport too.
All schools in Canada usually give an extra 2 weeks for an international student to resume
So, stay calm you will still get there in January.

Bless you
