I just want to see the players play good football and run at the opponent all day instead of inviting them to attack

I have watched our game more than 5 times since Saturday and I can boldly say Mourinho is clueless and Has completely lost it and has no idea what he is/was doing as a manager, All rashford did was Run like a headless chicken, he relied on his pace with little or no sense, against Cardiff, Rashford was all over the place receiving and returning passes, there was no need for needless runs, We attacked from both wings and through the middle We exchanged so many 1 2 passes against Cardiff than I have seen in 3 years under Mourinho. Our players were always on the move, wanting to receive the ball and take it forward, we attacked In numbers, all these we lacked under that clueless bastard.


Mourinho clamoured for more defenders because of the way he sets his team to play, Sit deep and defend, it is only normal to need more defenders for this set up, The best form of defense is attack, when you press from the front, you force your opponent to make mistakes and they won't even have the chance to reach your defenders, When you defend from the front rather than withdraw and invite pressure, your defenders will have very little to do. Yes we are going to lose some games along the way, but I doubt we are ever going to play as bad as we did under Mourinho. I am watching the Cardiff game again and all I can say is, Mourinho is clueless and should cover his face in shame after the Cardiff game

We both know he will not last 10 games before he takes his customary leave till around the end of this season. He's a fraud and has fleeced enough from Carrington to retire with. The only reason he has been retained this long is the color of his passport.

Lingard, Martial, Herrera and Pogba were the only players rated higher than Jones on whoscored. The other time people were suggesting Matic, Young, Jones, Valencia, Lukaku, Fellaini etc to be sold. I was just laughing because such has become the way since Moyes time. Why not let the new coach try out the players first. Look at Matic, a friend who wanted him sold told me that Matic did not make a single back pass against Cardiff, so he has now change of mind.

Rojo and Shaw have not stayed fit. Jones was even fit at the beginning of his life in Manchester United under SAF and Moyes. He did some decent jobs for SAF. Even Moyes used him for decent jobs, particularly against Bayern Munich in two legs, playing against Ribery and Robben from RB and LB at OT. Then against Ribery again in Munich, if my memory serves well.

But since Gaal, his case has got worse. Shaw was bought by Gaal but we have never enjoyed him. He came first with obesity, then a long injury, followed by another lack of physical fitness, then injury again. Rojo came too with injury. Bailly seems not left out of the curse.

this is old skool views. Players with left foot play on the right comfortably and vice versa.

You are completely wrong here.

For a forward, it is better for a left footer to play from the right wing in modern three forward like Salah, Messi, Robben, Ronaldo, etc. But not same for defenders. Evra played from the right was a one off case. Ferdinand was not very comfortable playing from the left as much as the right. Vidic had a better balance.

If it is so easy, why has Bailly not played even one match from the LCB?

You cannot define his career by one season. Remember he was rushed back from injury by Mourinho in the beginning of the season. It made him to go back quickly to injury. That has happened twice already.

Fact is that he has been more available than Shaw and Rojo.

We cannot say he didn't play many matches last season, only that he didn’t play full season. We can however blame his injury against Huddersfield in the early part of the match for the beginning of our woes last season. Lindelof was introduced in that match and caused two goals.

In the Cardiff match, there were two of his headed clearances. Forget it, not many defenders would put their life on the line for such duels in a choked box.

He lacks height but does things some tall defenders cannot. My only prayer is that he says fit.

No double standard. Jones has been in the club before Shaw. So Shaw should be given one or two more seasons, and if he continues to be unfit should be sold as well. I already stated Rojo should join.
