Exactly what I tell people. Everyone you see online has a life offline. You can only MEET people online same way you can meet them on the bus, in the church, in the street. It's up to you to arrange for offline meeting and do your assessment subsequently.

The first nairalander I tried to woo and subsequently met offline coincidently lives a walking distance from my house and I didn't know. However, it didn't work out as she didn't match my spec and I let her know immediately because I wanted something serious.
