shupy: This is not totally true. Experience or no experience, as far it's an Engineering degree, you can get assessed with a well written CDR. 1 Like |

Happy New Year Everyone! I'm very convinced that this year would be a memorable one for we hopefuls. A couple days ago, I was trying to register on skillselect and I got to a point where am asked to input my work experience. I have 3 years work experience but Vettases approved 1year 3months. Pls @ bellong and other seniors in the house, which of them do I input? In addition, when am enrolling for state nomination which of them should I use to avoid inconsistency and also increase my chances of sub class 489(Actuary) with a degree in Actuarial Science cos am on 55points? Regards, |

Mcslize:Well I don't know much about EA. She said experience is required. My point to her is, if it required, then there's no way around it using sales experience. However, I still believe they have a better chance at positive skill assessment in a sales related occupation. |

Is it possible to claim wife's occupation is on Short-term list while the husband's occupation is on Long-Term list even though they are both on the 190 ? Also, kindly clarify this for me " Does TRA need work experience to assess a Certificate 3 from Australian Institution in Commercial Cookery ?" Australian Bureau of Statistics site says AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training but I want to be crystal clear on this. Commercial Cookery is under Skill Level: 3 This is the ABS link http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Product+Lookup/1220.0~First+Edition,+Revision+1~Chapter~UNIT+GROUP+3514+Cooks Thanks |

tunlex01:Thanks bro. Is the tax number same as social benefit number? That's what I have and when I input it into the website I see my pics, name and address but no tax statement to print. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 9:52pm On Jan 03, 2019 |
BKings:I dont think social benefit number is the same as tax number. The tax number is alphanumeric N-XXXXX. Please chat LIRS or go to any of their offices. |

Avangard: This is what I did on my skillselect after Vetassess deducted 3 years from my 4.2 years of experience. I inputted the 1.2 years and selected 'relevant' while i selected 'not relevant' for the 3 years deducted. I think you can do that too. |

LondonBook:For most trade occupations, at least 3 years experience is required. With Australian qualification, you might not be required to do practical assessment but the experience is still a requirement. |

Good day family, and a happy and prosperous new year to us all, may this new year usher in great things and lots of grants. Please, i have some questions for my bosses of life on this thread and I'd appreciate clarifications on them. My sister was employed by a federal government parastatal some 10 years ago, and she's been working there in different capacities, although she got in as an office assistant, she went back to school for her Higher National Diploma. she got her latest promotion as an assistant laboratory technologist some few months ago and now she's thinking of applying for PR, please I'd like to know if she can start the application processes now, or she has to wait for a year despite the fact that she's spent 10 years in the ministry. please, i really need advise because i don't want hard earned money to go down the drain. |

Got contact from a CO today, asked for further proof of employment in particular income in the form of payslips, bank statements, tax certificates, award certificates or anything that will proof employment. The problem is that in the service year the 9,000 came from NYSCC and 14000 from the hospital management board but on my reference letter we called a bulk sum that includes both payments. The bank statements are from unity bank and bank phb. Will that be enough? Timeline EOI 05/18 ITA 11/08/18 Lodged 26/09/18 CO contact: 03/19. 1 Like 1 Share |

jekky83: If you have the requisite verification documents such as: reference letters, payslips, tax, pension, employment/contract letter, then I believe u can claim 3+years. I don't think your assessor would be particular that you skipped service year, abi who NYSC help? |

andrewozed: You can still go for draftperson. It's skill level 2 and you have some states nominating the occupation as well just in case. |

Good morning house. Please I need more info on VETASSESS assessment procedures/documentations. I am applying for assessment as Human Resource Adviser. I have over 18years work experience as Human Resource officer/Manager and PA and I want to claim all these years. These experiences are from 3 organisations and I have been able to get reference letters from them. Pls assist with the following questions: 1. Do I need to attach payslips for all the years? 2. Do I need to get tax clearance for the years ? 3. How many months bank statement reflecting salary payments? 4. What other documents do I need? 5. Pls is there anybody that has been assessed as HR adviser in the house? I need your guidance pls. Thank you all. |

Petebola2005: I think you have a good shot. You have sufficient years of experience if only you can provide evidence of these years of experience to claim your full points. tunlex01 should be able to help you on this. 1 Like |
