What about a direct entry student that spent 4 years for the 5-year program?

The diploma you used for securing admission to study your bachelor degree will be accepted as recognition of prior learning ( RPL). During your assessment, you will submit both your diploma and bachelor certs and transcripts along with a cover letter explaining that you used your diploma to secure admission for your bachelor degree and your university recognized it as RPL. This in essence total 6yrs. 2yrs Diploma and 4yrs bachelor which equals to that same 15points.

I am new here. I am 39 years and married. I have an MSC an MBA. My spouse also has an MBA. We both have over 12 years experience in relevant field. What are our chances for Canadian EE? I am the PA. Thanks for your advice.

Dear all,

I appreciate the spirit in this forum. I am new to this forum and to the Australia stuff.

I have been pursuing the Canadian stuff for a while and in the process, I wrote IELTS and got band 7 across the board that will be expiring by July 2019.

I have used the calculator to run my score and below is how I stand.

189: 65
190: 70
489: 75

My background: I have B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and PGD in management. I have worked in the banking sector spanning over 10years with 14months as a professional in training. Within this period, I spent circa 4 -5 years as a Relationship manager afterward, an opportunity came and I moved to the Head office where I worked with the top level executives as a business analyst for 4 years and for over a year now as performance manager tracking the performance of business managers. I am also married with 2 kids. I am 38 years now to be 39 by April. My wife is 5years younger but she runs her show[Business].

My Issue: I do not understand what is SOL and CSOL. what do I need to do first cos am kind of confused with the terms I meet when I run through the thread.

I seriously need help.

Thanks to everyone.

#NT has recommenced Designated Area Migration (DAMA) whereby employers operating NT that have been approved for #DAMA can sponsor overseas workers. A number of occupations are available and lower English requirements apply.

The DAMA ii is not really for Nigerians .I don't think any employer in OZ that will sponsor a Nigerian.

Good morning house. Please I need more info on VETASSESS assessment procedures/documentations. I am applying for assessment as Human Resource Adviser.

I have over 18years work experience as Human Resource officer/Manager and PA and I want to claim all these years. These experiences are from 3 organisations and I have been able to get reference letters from them. Pls assist with the following questions:

1. Do I need to attach payslips for all the years?
2. Do I need to get tax clearance for the years ?
3. How many months bank statement reflecting salary payments?
4. What other documents do I need?
5. Pls is there anybody that has been assessed as HR adviser in the house? I need your guidance pls.

Thank you all.

You can register with EXAMPLANET. Just search for EXAMPLANET and go to their website. The registration process is very simple. They also have training programs and materials if you want.

Please what's the meaning of four letter code in offer of an employment to AUS from Nigeria?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by Nobody: 6:06pm On Jan 09, 2019

1. You do not need to attach payslips for all the years. Pick two-three significant slips per company.

2. Tax clearance is not a requirement for VETASSESS.

3. Bank statement is not a mandatory requirement.

4. All documents you feel can substantiate your qualification for the nominated occupation- promotion letter, appreciation letters, awards, reference letter etc.

5. Ensure the JD in your Statement of service, CV and any other docs that reflect such aligns with ANZSCO requirements.

Regards.

The IT would work but might ACS might cut a lot of his experiences. He should look at the list for the best possible occupation that relates to the Data Administration

Good morning great e-family of DIY Australia PR....

please I want to ask if an NCE +B.Ed (fresh graduate)

still without professional work experience.... please is there any means I can follow to obtain a PR visa(considering there is no work experience yet)? thanks in anticipation

Have a look at the Aitsl website. It says your application is assessed against 2 criteria. Qualification and English test. They don't require experience. You would have to gather more points from other sources like English test

However, your qualification must include supervised teaching practice.

AmaSophy:
I just discovered this thread today.

I need help please. I studied English language (education) - UNN. Other than approximately 2 years teaching experience which includes my NYSC and teaching practice experience, I have about 8 years experience in administrative functions and I am confused on what to apply for under the skilled occupation in subclass 189.

In a nutshell, my certificate I'm education doesn't confirm with quality experience in another field (administrative officer). I need advice on if to apply for education using just 2 yrs experience or look for something similar to admin although I don't remember seeing admin in the occupation list.

Please advice me professionally while considering the points that would be accrued to me

Age : 30points
Degree : 15 points
English: yet to write IELTS
Experience: 2 yrs teaching and 8 years admin officer

HELP

You should probably go through the education route. You would have more options. You can go for 189 or look for state or regions sponsoring teachers.

Please kindly advice.

Your friend will loose point with experience if he/she assess for ICT occupation because his/her degree is not related and due to his/her age bracket he/she will not be able to compete if he/she eventually gets a positive outcome in skill assessment. ICT occupations are highly competitive.

Verify if your friend's role is data administrator or database administrator.

If data administrator, he/she may be able to assess as records manager with vetassess which is only available for 190 &489 visas. With that he/she should hope for the following points;
Age : 15pts
Degree: 15pts ( if his/her degree is from a tier 1 uni)
Experience: 10pts
English :20points
State sponsorship: 5/10
Total:. 65/70

Note: records manager is a skill level 1 occupation and you can only qualify to assess for this if you attended a tier 1 University or a 5yr course in Nigeria.

This is an Australian thread not Canadian express entry thread. However, with your qualifications, your crs score is lower than d average score for ITA. If your spouse is younger, then you should be fine with d Canny journey

1. No, just 1 per year is fine if you will be uploading bank statement.
2. Vetassess do not require it except if they identify any issue with d employment. However, you may be needing it for the visa application
3. You can use 6 months for each role, probably the last 6 months for the 3 roles. I provided only a 6 month statement prior to d application date.
4. Any other documents to substantiate your claims.
5. No idea. You can check expatforum

How can I check quota for the various skills.

Like the remaining quota for each skill set. So that I can check which skill is less competitive. I need this to make a quick decision

This is where am stuck! How do i go about it? Can I begin the process using this job role? Or is it advisable i look for a job role fitting my BSc qualification?

Good Afternoon everyone,

So I had a first attempt at PTE and just got my result. Had L-84, R-79, S-70, W-87. It's a bit painful because nine more points in my speaking would have granted me 20 points but I'm still good with 10 points. Once I add this to the requirements under my visa category(subclass 489), I would have a total of 70/65.

Now, my chosen occupation falls under VETASSESs and there's only one state nominating it (Please what are my chances?).

Also, my major confusion is the application process. Is the EOI application different from the VETASSES application? or are they the same thing. Because I can see VETASSES also requires an application process.

Please o, I would really appreciate all necessary feedback, as I want to be very sure of my next step now that I have the PTE Result.

Thank you.
