I uses CSL, Morgan Capital, Standard Union. CSL charges 3% in both buying /selling and uses real time online trading, and Morgan uses real time online trading too. Morgan has better feature in their online trading than CSL, sometime CSL misbehave. Like one may place an order and cancel it, the money will hang till the next day, but Morgan capital drop down to your account ready to be use the next second.
Both show offer and bid quantity and price.
I prefer Morgan because, at 3% gain in any stock I purchase using Morgan, am making 1.5% gain if I should sell at that price ( 1.5% of #10 million is #150,000). But with CSL or any other stockbrokers, at 3% no gain added.

3% ! Just imagine. nawah
If Morgan can do this for 1.7 and still in business after five years, then CSL, FBNQuest, Standbic no try at all !
FBNQuest don’t even have online trading yet they charge high..

NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT /MSCI POSITION (NSE STOCK MARKET WEATHER REPORT) - FOR 15 JANUARY 2019

MSCI Nigeria sold only 2 equities (details for subscribers only) and has just taken up 16,981,341units rights of Lafarge.

Market breadth was draw 11 gainers 11 losers, but the all share index fell by 0.45%, close of today will tell us what the week will look like. Big players are not expected to do much this week as a major news event (MPC) is on the way.

Market still expected to trade sideways/lower for the day. Likely some news readers will buy early in the early trading season, while the real players are expected to close the day downwards.

Our trade selection still remain same as yesterday (details of entry, exit/stop loss available to subscribers only)

For Tuesday 15 January 2019 projection for the Nigeria All Share Index, expected High is 30,077.10 Low at 29771.10

From this year, I will start talking about companies that are likely to be takeover/merger candidates. They are many companies that will fall in this category and will be a worthwhile research. Especially when they are trading at a very low point that our maximum loss is within 15% to 20% range. For this I will be posting more in our twitter handle.

1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero, unless the fund is exiting from the particular Country involved. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market. The date displayed may not be the actual date of purchase/sale of equity (this is legal and allowable under the regulations guiding funds operations in general).

3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock market crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding.

4. If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI Nigeria for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts (https://www.nairaland.com/yok/posts), you will see the various sources where the data can be verified. Get us at twitter https://twitter.com/AnalysisTarget

Is the Morgan total charges for buying 0.6% or 1.7%? If it is 1.7%, doesn't Merristem and United Capital Charge the same thing? And they both have a mobile app.

Though at the end of the day, many people start loosing money from charges alone.

The bolded is not applicable again. Cant remember them deducting 2500 for the past two years now, seems they stopped it already, so also the withdrawal charges quoted does not apply.

Old I need explanation how CILeasing share price was arrived at N8.29. I thought it is 1:4 therefore price is N1.78*4=N7.12

Cileasing had a little reconcilliation problem. They assumed they had 1.6b shares while the exchange had 1.88bn shares in their own records.

If you reconstruct 1.88bn shares to 404m shares you get the N8.29 per share with a reconstruction ratio slightly less than 1:4.

MSCI NIGERIA MOVEMENT-

Good that the raw data is available to the public. However, our subscribers get more value. We can tell you what is the total for each equity MSCI Nigeria has sold this year and some other hidden information like what was sold yesterday in percentage terms for the day, percentage for the week, even percentage for the month, definitely we provide value. Again this MSCI thing is just one of the tools we use, may I give it 5% in our total tools arsenal.

We are happy to be a pioneer in the use of the data to follow up what the big funds are doing.

I am happy that we are following up. But we all know if it is not from Target it cannot be on target!!! grin grin grin

Thank you all.

...last week decline was phenomenon!
-Last 2 trading days shows indecision in the market - BULLS or BEARS?
-It would have been better if such indecision appears on a support -> that would have been a wink
-Today's market reaction might determine if a reversal will occur or the fall will continue
