But the LFA isn't just a random sports car, tbh. Lexus only made a very limited amount, and the things cost like $500k. The LFA is a much, much better car than the GTR, though. I'd even take the Acura NSX over the GTR too.
The GTR took off and the LFA was behind, when the GTR choked cos of its max speed, the LFA started like a lion and raped the GTR terribly grin

2. How generous of you to assume that that guy is a car enthusiast. All he knows is his 4-cylinder Benz. grin I doubt he's ever driven any of the cars he calls shitboxes. I like the guy but he's a bit ehh about Mercedes.

Nwanneni, I pray you test drive other cars in 2019 and understand that Mercedes isn't anywhere near the pinnacle of automotive excellence. Even among the mainstream big three German marques (Mercedes, BMW, and Audi), Mercedes is probably the worst in terms of pure driving aesthetic. The fastest Merc isn't as fast as the fastest Audi (R8 V10), and the best-handling Merc doesn't handle as well as an M3/M4.

Landlord, travel and see.

Preach!!!! He know nothing about automobiles..

If I had 100mil to spend on a car.. I won't look towards a Benz... Mschewww!!!

Exactly! Forced induction versus raw displacement. Can't ever compare a turbo six to a V10. Turbo may start off well but the V10 will catch up and leave it behind.

Indeed. It depends on what you want in a car, though, I have to admit. Mercedes is making some really great GT cars right now. But performance wise, Mercedes isn't even near the top of the pile.

Good year choice! And yeah, I'm a fan of the IS350. Those things can move, and are rock reliable. I think your budget would've been enough for any G37 Coupe of your choice, though. But that's splitting hairs, since the IS is perhaps the better car anyhow.

Lol, fear not. You'd have to be really unlucky or careless to kill that engine. Those things run forever. Toyota uses that same engine till today.
the car is FAST, fastest car i’ve owned so far. One reason that kind of drove me away from the g37 was that i wasnt sure of how durable its suspension is and how accessible the parts are. Bad suspension really frustrates me

Yes, the IS350 is a real sleeper. You think it's some slow, smooth-riding Lexus and then you step on the throttle and the thing fuckin goes like a bastard.

G37 suspension is solid. It's a harsher ride than your IS, though.

Ditto on parts availability. I was looking at a G37 Coupe, too, but I'm not at all sure about how readily available parts are. For some perspective, there's not a single G37 Coupe currently on sale online in Nigeria at the moment. Good luck finding parts.

Nice review. But bro what do you think about the GS350 (2007). I know it is heavier(hence slower than the IS) but i am talking in terms of parts availability (apart from the engine o grin) and reliability(including the engine cheesy)

The only thing i hate about the IS is that the rear seats are too cramped angry but design wise , i think it is a more beautiful car

Those things are reliable. Parts are scarce but available if you search.

I think the G37 looks better, tbh. The coupe especially. That said, looks are always subjective.

The GS is essentially a stretched IS. They don't share parts, though, at least I know they don't share suspension and body parts. I don't even think they share stuff like sensors either.

Parts aren't that available for the GS, but you can find them with a bit of effort.

Thanks to this forum and @HeavenlyBang continuous post on the Infiniti G series

I just secured a 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe. I can't wait for the car to arrive in Nigeria

I would have gone for the sedan but I kinda love the shape of the coupe better. Was actually shopping for a 2008 but landed a 2010 instead

I know there are reservations around the type of fuel to use but we will be alright las las

Can't believe I walked away from shopping for a Benz. Guess, I just wanted to be different!

Any 2010 G37 coupe owner in the house?

Thanks Readonee35L & Nwannemi,

No be only me need premium fuel. There are lots of cars in Lagos that do. I also believe “premium” has a lot more to do with the octane rating. I think Nigeria is currently on 89 while the minimum premium starts from 91. If he too add, I go use octane booster! The gurus can jump in.

As for the wallet, Na something must kill a man. Maybe I go just reduce the beer time (on a lighter note)

However, it will be more of a weekend car. My crib to my office is pretty close, so the camry can continue that route.
