There are successful Anambra and Imo marriage, that your own did not work does not mean that mine will not work.

My father told me that if the mother of the woman i want to marry does not like me but the father like me, i should quit the marriage but if the mother likes me and the father does not like me i should carry on with the marriage

I have dated an Anambra person and I can confirm this is true,their mothers have hatred for IMO ladies but Imo guys will marry their own ladies without issue.

Have you tried to ask what is the cause of the hatred?

Why will you be scared? Are there no successful marriages between delta and imo? Well you listen to what fools and idiots say and use it as a yardstick for judging an entire nation?
Why don't you look more into the person and the family you are marrying to determine if things will work out or not?

The HATRED and DISREGARD for fellow humans is second to none, including fellow Tribe which is not spared.
The HATE towards other Igbos is something else.
We really need to get to the ROOT of this Matter.

The reason is simply because Igbos from other states tend to hype the Anambra people. I used to be among those hyping them but I have learnt to reserve my respect only to those who truly deserve it. We say Anambra people are industrious, good and fine! But how about Ebonyi people whose local rice industry feeds us?? How about the great men from Enugu, Imo and Abia who are making waves in business all over the country??
Being industrious is not an exclusive preserve of Anambra people.

My dear, they are not same. An ohu being a slave and being owned by a man or grouo of men can be set free whenever they wish to set the slave free.
