@Boom12.

So your POF amount is the cash surrender value which is total premium paid since inception till the date you surrender the policy. Abi?

Yeah, I think so. There might be some charges for early surrender though...I believe it won't be significant.

Hmmm I know somebody too, pushing 40 with only Bsc. His agent is telling him that he doesn't need to write IELTS and that PPR will definitely come. Me I am tired of talking because he is not listening. He is hell bent on wasting money so make I siddon look to see how this 'miracle' will happen.
grin grin grin grin grin usually it is at the point of biometrics that they find out that the agent is processing TRV for them.
No be small miracle

Mm. Really looks like ICES is now overwhelmed.

Why won't they? when we keep telling everyone to use them. WES is still better

Good day everyone, please I have two important questions to ask, 1) has anyone gotten two or more degrees from ICES, am asking because I want to evaluate my OND and HND, will they consider it as two degrees just like WES? Then second question, how do I get my Necco transcript, is it my school will give it to me, I mean are they the one that will provide it or Necco should provide it? Please your answer will be appreciated. Thank you

You dont need to evaluate your NECO if you are using ICES. But if you want to use WES and need your NECO to be evaluated, you can PM me.

Due to high volume of applications, the timelines may have changed! It was five weeks for mine!

Please, Hope ICES do not request for WAEC evaluation and the fee, is it for all credentials or for each? cos I'm evaluating my ND, HND and PGD.

Presently on their site it's around 12weeks

ICES does not require Waec note it's best you evaluate ND and HND if from same school to ease the stress of transcript processing so as to get 2 or more certificate
You will have to pay for each credential that's $200 each

Chai! Village people have gotten this one. How on earth do you go and falsify Tax returns?
Chai!!
Do people submit tax return form during documentation or just pay slips or bank statement?

That case was for an inland applicant - someone claiming 10 years of work experience in Canada.
We don't need to - except self employed people who may want to use it to prove the legitimacy of their business.

Please how much did you pay for your transcript in ABU Zaria and can you share your contact person with me? Thanks

Good evening everyone. Please, I've got a little challenge. ICES is taking forever to send hubby's ECA & I'm trying to beat time & hopefully get ITA before my next birthday in May. My ECA with WES will be ready next week (by God's grace) & IELTS is next month. Am I over thinking this or should I just calm down & allow them take their time? Or do we go ahead & forget his ECA? sad cry

A friend just started his ECA with ICAS, anybody who has used ICAS should kindly share his/her experience.

The reason why he choose them is because he plan to relocate to Ontario, has a sibling there, and ICAS is based in Ontario.

how reliable is ICAS?

Note - ICAS not IQAS

ICAS is a 19-week journey while IQAS is 15 weeks.

I think so too. People are just trying to avoid WAEC drama that's why they run to ICES.

@nomad26, please share with us why your ices took 4 months.

I think people need to be aware that ICES is not really as wonderful as we say on this thread. ICES also reserves the right to carry out verification on their own, just that this is not made known to applicants in the manner WES does. Their evaluation process is also shrouded in mystery. Documents were received by ICES on November 7 and to date, the ECA has not been completed. I called them yesterday and was told evaluations take 10-12 weeks after they receive your documents and it is at that stage they would let you know if your documents are acceptable or not. I wouldn't be surprised if the processing time increases due to the manner in which we have been encouraging people to go with ICES. Their volume of work may have increased without necessarily increasing the number of evaluators. Please let's make an informed decision.

So, I finally got the ECA after writing to them to ask why the delay. The date on the ECA is the date I wrote to them. That being said, I love how responsive they are to enquiries, although I foresee their response times increasing due to the volume of work.

I'm glad people are really discussing this now, because like others, I applied and went to sleep. ICES is really not bad for those who are have high CRS scores and can afford to miss ITAs.

if you are not a lawyer i think you should use WES or ICES. the waiting time of IQAS is draining with the current trend

I am a lawyer,I used Wes. Please use IQAS. You get a higher Canadian equivalent with IQAS...masters.I had to add my law school evaluation yet it didn't get masters equivalent. The wait is worth the extra points

I think it depends on what your score will be without his ECA. If it is high enough then I think you can proceed without it.

Hello everyone please has anybody here done the WAEC confirmation thing required by WES and sent someone on his or her behalf? Please I need to ask about the address you used on your affidavit and the other required documents. Were you allowed to use a foreign address or you used a Nigerian address...or do I need any address at all? Please it’s urgent. Thanks!

Is IQAS also evaluating per credential or for every credentials submitted for evaluating?

I'll advice you to let the ongoing ECA for your spouse to continue, concentrate more on maxing out IELTS, by the time that is done then its easier for you to make the decision on the aforementioned
