Are you very sure that's the registration cost and not the lecture cost?
Just went to verify and it seems it changes each passing year and is also dependent on the Forex rate. The lowest price I saw is $165.

Registration and lecture is #45k from bymafit.

Someone just confirmed it from the post above

How did you go with the process of creating a blocked account or getting a sponsorship letter

If you don't have anyone in Germany, you might as well forget about the sponsorship letter option and focus on blocked account.

I opened my blocked account online on Fintiba.com
After filling a couple of forms and uploading a number of documents which will be verified in the space of 24hrs, they will send you form containing your new account details to which €8640 will be transferred (excluding bank charges and their own service charge). You can fund before or after the interview but you won't get the visa till you complete the funding because the confirmation of complete funding is among the documents required by the German embassy.

Good evening everybody. I am new here.
Thanks for making this platform worth visiting. I have gotten a lot of information here that have really helped me.

I secured admission to study Micro and Nano Technology for the summer semester in Munich. So yesterday night I sent a letter to the embassy to book appointment for visa and I got a response this afternoon.

My schools resumes on the 15.03.2019 but my appointment is scheduled for 28.02.2019. Now my questions are there;

How long does it take to get a response from the embassy after the interview?

can my school influence it so that I can get an appointment for an earlier date so I can meet up with the resumption date?
has anyone here such an experience before? Please i would like to know.

I will appreciate every response given here. thanks

I understand both the blocked account and the SL Stuff. I don't have the money to open a blocked account so am trying to get Sponsorship letter.
I already tried searching for a scholarship to the programme I want which is MSc Sports management in German Sport University of Cologne , I didn't see any scholarship for it.
So the sponsorship letter is what I need to get, and will be very greatful if I can get someone that will help me with it

pls search very well, there are scholarships for sports management, at least I think I saw a couple of them. But didn't click them to get the details. you can use German scholarship search engines to get it. Use the following link

You don't know how lucky you are. Your enrolment deadline is the main thing. Check what it is. You can also write to the school for an enrolment extension.

For those who asked about scholarships, it's not that it's not possible to get one or two, but its somehow a heculian task, much more tasking than looking up for admissions in schools.

The downside is the German language proficiency of B2. kindly go through this links, but you have to dig deep. plz don't come asking me how you will search for it oooo or asking me to get one or two offer for you. These are German scholarship search engines.

Congrats.

It takes about 4-6 weeks to hear back from the embassy, could be less if you have scholarship.

This happened to me for the last winter admission, my school said they cannot interfere in the process neither can they grant an extension. I had to forfeit the admission.

But from what I have read on this page you can reach out to your school and ask that they give you an extension. Ask for one month extension and pesent that as an additional document during your interview.

All the best

Business or Arts related courses for Bsc cos my graduate level(philosophy) GP is 2.80 which I think might be too low to study for masters.

Hello house,
I couldn’t meet up with the summer semester fr my sch so i asked them for an extension to the next semester but they only sent me a one page letter admitting me for the winter semester starting July. Which is unlike the summer admission letter where they sent me (2 pages )stating everything and and even where the exam would be conducted and all and a map of the state.
My question is do i ask the sch to send me another admission letter for winter semester Just like the (2pages) one they sent me for summer semester or would this new extension letter be enough??
Thank you
what they sent to you is OK just attach it to the other ones and you are good to go .
Before I forget just apply for your visa interview ASAP

Just a tip for others who want to combine two Jobs. Working two 450 euro jobs will get you taxed but there's a kind of Job called kurzfristig Beschäftigung(hope I don't get banned). Basically you are allowed to work for 3 months in a year. That's approximately 70 days in a year. You won't do the job everyday though. Now combining this job with a 450 euro job won't get you taxed according to the law!!. This kind of Job let you earn more than 450 euro.

In Frankfurt you could earn up to 800 euros without getting taxed as a student, now imagine combining that with a 450 euro job without getting taxed...
abeg what's the English version of your German my boss lady I hail personally
