NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT /MSCI POSITION (NSE STOCK MARKET WEATHER REPORT) - FOR 01 FEBRUARY 2019 MSCI Nigeria, no movement in the portfolio as at 31 January 2019. You can confirm here: https://www.globalxfunds.com/funds/nge/ Thursday was another easy day for the bears. Need to go back to our earlier chart to know where we are. For trading opening day of February, there is no stopping the bears. There were 10 gainers and 32 losers market breadth and quality of equities are all on the side of the bears. To be on the safer side, I will say it is another pens up period, even if I am addicted to the market, I will control my emotions and wait till Tuesday next week when fear will push some people to start selling all they have. Any buyer by then is likely to have a lot to pick and select from (but know that you have to be prepared for some heat in the market, no free lunch). The price action chart is as shown below. Going further on what is happening in UBA, we can use the daily pivot point to follow what is happening. If the stock is able to stay above the support level, good. If it falls below support we should wait and not buy. R1 - 7.18 Pivot - 6.90 - Close above this figure mean still in bullish mode S1 - 6.48 NSE All Share loss for 2019 now -2.71%, not that bad looking at how the year started. Let us see what will happen by end of February, but I do not want to predict anything our charts will guide us as the days go by. For Friday 01 February 2019, projection for the Nigeria All Share Index, expected High is 30947.45 Low at 30,362.07 Do not let us rush to buy, let us see that the price we want to buy is close to support and the risk involved not more than 15% (any loss above 15% will be very difficult to recover from). For now we are watching the market only, except I see exceptional opportunities, I want to remain risk averse. See the update on our list of selected stock for Subscribers, this will be updated by Monday and we will be relying more on our mathematical models for selection (remember we do not want to buy, except we see good bargain, the entry prices will sometimes look unreasonable low, don’t bother yourselves, we are setting a trap for the market!!!). First revelation of our merger candidate is out (information for subscribers only). We should start buying little by little, risk is small (company is still profitable with positive reserve and at good support point). Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). N:B 1. We have trading systems which will teach you what I am doing, such that you can discover good equities on your own. IO particularly recommend the “No Loss Trading System”, yes no loss, this like own Coca-Cola without Sugar (health drink for your stock investing). E-mail us for more details!!! 1 Like

I was surprised people panic sold at loss yesterday instead of buying the dip despite Currentprice and OGG reassuring them its just a gimmick by the big boys. |

onegentleguy: ...and Chief UBA closed @ N7.15 today !! Let's see if the N8 boulevard WILL be achieved next week !! Elsewhere, other banking coys like FIDELITY, FCMB, WEMA, STERLING and ZENITH continue to shake off some fellows. ...only the brave who can take their necessary but required 'drug of PATIENCE' shall in the end CONQUER !! Remember; "If u desire to WIN more 'open battles' with the stock market, then NEVER work to PLAY AHEAD of it or seek to TIME It. ...work to PLAY ALONG with it and seek to better ur playing STRATEGY. Unless of course u wish for a far less win than normal." ~Sinclair "If there's one thing to learn from the stock market, then it's the fact that those who know when and how to 'take their necessary but required drug of patience' hardly 'fall sick'. ...the market often tend to reward them with the passage of TIME !!" ~Sinclair "The day u manage to strike the RIGHT BALANCE between fear and greed in line with ur Investment goal is the day u'll begin to decipher 'the many melody' that's been played in the stock market. ...to 'dance to the tune of those melodies' however, u must 1st create that balance with WISDOM and season it with PATIENCE." ~Sinclair Personally, I am also learning a lot from this market. veecovee: Adviser no. 1, maybe you want to relieve your anger, because of some % loss yesterday, but you are taken it the wrong way. If you don't buy lower, but only to count loss while others are buying lower to sell higher, who makes money? Those that bought UBA at #6.50 where did their money comes from? Does it mean that before yesterday that UBA don't have better price for them to use all their money on. Meaning that they know that at this period of time that stocks price will be presenting good bonanza opportunities. Did you think that I have not bought some stocks during January bonanza, while waiting for next week February bonanza price. Anyway you can say whatever you choose, but getting stock cheaper before the next 8 working days is my project for now. Then the movement towards the northern pole will start At the bolded, retraced your word before your words will work against you. What work for me can not work for you, remember, we are both two different individual. 1 Like |
