I have seen that the file is just 600+ mb and my the recovery rom I have used was 1.5gb .
Secondly, I don't have memory card, is it possible to back up my data?

use migrate app to backup and restore all ur data(app, call log, messages)

Not necessarily. Just same steps to flash custom rom. I.e
-wipe (excluding internal memory)
-flash rom
-flash gapps
-flash dm - verity (optional).

The file is less than 1gb because it doesn't come with gapps. You can download any, but I use micro gapps.

Use titanium backup. Except if you're coming from miui, then you'll have to backup to an external storage and decrypt by wiping everything

Anyone using Redwolf recovery (Whyred) here? Pls have you been able to successfully backup and restore roms with it? Because users are complaining on the developer's thread...

Go for AEX. No bugs whatsoever in the latest update, been using it for almost a month now. ✔️✔️

I just flashed the ROM but it didn't support dual app which is important to me and the battery health too not impressive. You know any ROM that supports dual app please?

It is on my end, probably because I'm mostly Connected to a WiFi. I get an average of about 10 hours SOT on a daily. That AEX kernel is best kernel for battery life that I've tested.

Tried DarkAges and Beast Kernel (both aimed at improving GPU for gaming and slightly decreasing CPU) but i i ended up switching back to the AEX kernel cos i need my phone to be snapy.

I think the last AEX build came with genom kernel too if I'm not mistaken.

Just use it for a while, say 2 to 3 days and if you're still having the issue then we can look for a solution.

how is the screen brightness after flashing, did u notice if it got reduced?
