I select food a lot. Growing up as a young adult I had a lot I don’t eat, before cooking my mum would tell me what she’s about cooking and would ask me if I was interested. If I say no, I will go to the kitchen and prepare my food after she’s done cooking for the rest of the family.

Till now sef I don’t like eating food like wheat, semo,tuwo...etc. I’ve also not tasted ogbono, gbegiri and okra before in my life.

Bros no amount of coercion could've made me eat what I don't like naturally. You think my folks didn't try to coerce me?

Naturally I eat very little, so when I don't eat at all it makes little difference. When I was way much much younger and couldn't cook once they cook what I don't like, I just avoid eating at all.

When some of my old man's relative stayed with us at a point, they were forming irritation and acting like my mom failed in forcing me to eat what I don't like. When they discovered forcing me yielded no result, they let me be.

Am not spoilt in any way, just like William uchemba ;I don't like what I hate

But you know there are exceptions to rules right?

I served in the north since the day I resumed to my ppa after the normal 2 weeks break after camp, I never traveled for once home till the end of my service year.

If I tell you tru out the course of the almost 11 months spent in the north I never tried any new dish and didn't even get to eat some of my favourite dishes sef. I ate just bread, rice, beans, yam, potatoes spaghetti, noodles, sardines and that's all. No swallow.

Would u say am strange? Or exception to the rule of eating what's available in my area?
