Nduka Ndubuisi, the Plateau United coach at the time explains:

"It's hard to explain his (Mikel) talent at such a tender age, but when we got him, we realised we had found the best young talent in the whole of Nigeria. The fans were critical of our decision to play a school boy, but he was outstanding in the few games he played at home."

I always said it that though there is age cheating but it is not as prevailent as some peeps term it here.

Imagine Andrew still saying Awoniyi took off 5 years from his age.

Even if one can doubt the ages of other youth players but not the Manu and Amuneke's U17 graduates.

Meanwhile even at that time some were already saying was almost 30yrs old.

I will never say he is already 30

Obi mikel removed about 4 years from his age which I consider okay and very young ,take it or leave it .

John Mikel Obi came to the attention of Kashimawo Laloko through the Pepsi academy at the age of 12. James Ayeni, a coach at the academy recalls:

"He was one of my best players at that time. He was so thin yet so brave, and he also had a very good first touch."

Note Mikel was discovered as an academy kid. Not a grown player that could hide four years and above easily.

No need to tell me all this okay I know all this one ,I even have some information you don't have

I'm quite curious though..

Why do you think the MRI isn't reliable??/

MRI isn't reliable

From 2013 that's then Nigeria begin produce young players for u17 who are just 3 to 4 years older

A 21 year old use to pass the MRI scan now tell me how is it reliable ?

Ighalo joins Obafemi Martins at Shanghai Shenhua

Wait if Obafemi Martins is still playing with Ighalo why are we not inviting him?

I hope Rohr is not playing Ighalo because of that 15 goal EPL season undecided

nope, but I know Keanan plays as a winger but can also play as a FB.

Last time I checked, Zaruma was a RB and neither of the Bennetts play as a RB, hence aint gonna be no cover, whatsoever. Aigbogun has to dig deep to get us someone better

ROHR is yet to get the best out of him thru formation

I am happy he joined shanghai Shenhua at least people from this thread will not see an excuse to use in insulting ighalo and rohr

Some are already saying so rohr will take a Chinese division 2 striker to afcon ,not knowing ighalo will joint a better Chinese league club soon

Brazil and some others team took players from Chinese league to the World Cup so no issues

As far as I am concerned ighalo is eagles best striker .

No contradictions, buh the argument is the positions they are to occupy. Keanan is a Lord over all the wingers Aigbogun paraded in Niger, hence it would be no brainer to invite him. That said, they(the bennets) are gonna add nothing to that problematic RB position, hence Aigbogun has to dig deep to get us someone better than Zaruma. A player like Hungbo wont be bad, anyways.
