I did mine at osogbo in oct 2017 and it cost me 30k i get it the second day and what i used was my national id card with declaration of age issued in court of law i snap the passport there because they rejected the one i took along.

Myself and a friend will be going to akure immigration office tomorrow(thursday) to apply for passport...i have all the required documents but i don't know the actual amount to take along for the passport..I don't want to pay any charges that's not official..I hate been cheated.. please house how much should I go along with.. applying for 32pages

If you're taking cash along, then you're prepared to pay higher than required. Officially, Nigeria immigration service doesn't collect cash at their offices hence you'll have to make your application and pay online.

We need the passport so urgently that's why we don't want to use online application...But I'm thinking of taking along 23k.. since online application is 17,500... Even if they want to extort as usual, I'm thinking it shouldn't be more than 5k...I want it to be ready immediately or tomorrow

They collected 38k from a guy for just 32pages....arrived akure office around 11:40am..meet with some guy he said 32pages is 30k....told him I'm not a zombie he could cheat....he did a breakdown of the 30k and i bursted into laugh...Stamp fee..Booklet fee..arrangement fee(for where??).....I told him how i can get to register for myself online with 18k..told him d urgency for d passport made us came for d application manually.so we bargain at 28k.. just because of d crowd i saw at d reception..more than 80people sitting patiently to register..i just went back to d guy and he gave us form to fill n we paid him..he later came back with a print out. To the best of my knowledge, I don't think so. The officer clearly emphasized that it must be National ID card or driver's license

Getting this lga cert now wont be easy at all for me as am not in my state of origin right now. So, i'd like to know if there is a way i can get my passport without LGA cert..Thank you.
