I appreciate your input. I don't know if it's possible to raise that kind of fund from nairaland. I can prove my story anyways so long my identity is protected because of the stigma associated with the disease.

I can't afford that money and he also said that after treatment my test will always be positive but the viral load will be zero (meaning that I will be free of the virus but that the result will always be positive)

I have done some research and I noticed hepatitis c affects the liver, there are some people online that claim they have the drugs and that at the end of using their drug, I will never test positive to the virus again.

I am devastated and confused, depressed is an understatement. Please any experienced doctor or pharmacy or anyone that ever experienced such or know someone.

Please save my life....

The doctor couldn't explain, but mine was triggered by High fever. It affected my liver.

High fever can't give you Hepatitis sir, it is transmitted from one person to another same way HIV is. It is like saying you had malaria and came down with HIV

Get professional medical attention asap before it progresses. Hepatitis C is a deadly disease. I used to nurse hepatitis C client in 2008 and he died from the disease shortly after his case was assigned to me. Look for local herbs that supports your cause as well.

Most importantly you need to raise funds asap.

No. I find it difficult to sit because of stomach discomfort. I also eat very little because food don't digest as it use to.

Be wary of that doctor.

Oga, viral load Test is ranging between N30K and 25, so go and confirm pls, the Doctor is right.

To the OP, please don't patronise any herbal concotion bullshit, your liver is already affected and the worst you can do is to overload with unknown chemicals for breakdown. As suggested above, go to a general or teaching hospital, get a viral load done and also a liver function test too to know if the liver is still in good state.. Treatment will be prescribed for you based on your results and other information.. Don't patronise road side quacks

Dear sir,

everything you need to know had probably been said by your doctor... and problem is, Hepatitis C virus predisposes to liver cancer, liver failure and their sequelae.

Please understand at this point that your doctor is out to help you, allow him do so in everyway you can.

You should rather be wary of a hospital that does viral load test at 5k. It is actually rather cheap at 30k

I dnt trust them. I had a bacteria infection one time took like 3 bottles symptoms dint leave till I went for modern medicine.

Hepatitis is deadly than HIV/AID if not properly manage. One can contact it same way like HIV. The best and permanent treatment is through liver transplant but it's extremely expensive. Ask your friends and family members to assist you in the area of finance.

The symptoms of hepatitis are jaundice in the eyes and skin, swollen body, nausea, vomiting etc. I wish you the best of luck in your treatment and believe in yourself that you gonna overcome it.
