I’m surprised she picked offense in what you posted with no single elements of abuse or scorn and still went ahead to attack you tho much. Please ignore her.
I know. It's amazing but she is a woman and permanently pregnant, full of crazy hormones, it's not easy to be a woman.

I’m going to take that from you. But that was so unfriendly...I’ve been reading a lot of comment on this thread since 2 days ago (background readers). When I read the unfriendly post I was shocked cos I saw nothing to be upset about in what u posted. It’s ok, we are all one big family here.

It just dawned on me that Bahama citizens are majority blacks...and to know that they are not immigrant friendly, that is shocking to say the least.
Yes, they are black, very nice people but there is no jobs and the life is expensive, it's islands, food and many things are imported, many tourists there. As a new immigrant you will be competing for jobs with local people and they just accuse you fast and deport you. Also the American custom and control pushes the Bahamian government to control more immigrants and tourists. It's beautiful there but really very expensive even for Americans, even food. Small country, no place to hide. Bahamas welcomes millionaires, it's all about tourism and economy.

Bahamas is beautiful but expensive to live and no jobs. Also they deport easy any who overstayed a tourist visa. Better try Belize which is a little more easy on foreigners and it's also an English speaking country, many blacks too.

Bahamas and shark attacks are Siamese twins. grin

Tourists/visitors have to be careful not to go about
swimming anyhow in those beautiful and colourful
ocean waters in Bahamas.

I love Barbados too but it is quite expensive... though
a great place to visit for holidays/leisure.

Yes. sharks and it's because Bahamaians don't fish sharks and don't eat them. Once I was talking to the taxi driver in Bahamas and he is a fisherman too, he told me and I was teaching him how delicious and how to cook the baby shark and the big shark meat, how it is prepared in South America the shark steak, ceviche and shark fried, how to spice it for to improve the taste. It's really the delicacy. And usually when the people starts catching / hunting some fish and animals, they become not so many and in case of sharks, they go away of the coast.

But yes, those waters between Caribbean islands and Florida have many, many sharks, be careful.

Small island, not easy to stay legal, no jobs and easy to see you as a foreigner, easy to deport. Try bigger countries with visa, if you are not afraid to learn Spanish, Ecuador, Dominical Republic are more easy to get the legal residence once inside arriving as a tourist, to do private business or from the day 1 advertise and teach English, rent a small place somewhere close to University and give classes at home looking for more jobs to do. Get a room on airbnb cheap for 1 month and ask your host where is better district close to schools and universities, the cost of life and rent is cheaper than in Nigeria and 1-2 months rent in advance, not 1 year as in your country. Visa shouldn't be very difficult and do it yourself, don't use the agent

It could be Ecuador or Dominican Republic, Ecuador is bigger, more jobs and business. What I know, you can get in Quito or Guayaquil the room or a small modest appt for $200-300 a month or to live in furnished decent room see airnbb for $10-12 a day,
https://www.airbnb.com/s/homes?refinement_paths%5B%5D=%2Fhomes&adults=1&children=0&infants=0&toddlers=0&query=Quito%2C%20Ecuador&place_id=ChIJn3xCAkCa1ZERclXvWOGRuUQ&price_max=12&allow_override%5B%5D=&s_tag=DfMYQ6ui

if you rent airbnb for a month, they even can give you a discount. The food is cheaper than in Nigeria. Teaching English as a native speaker you can make $10-15 per hour (academic hour = 45 minutes) and to see what else you can do. I heard from some people renting the appt on the 1st floor and having it with a garden with avocado, bananas, having so many even selling them, some get a land and build slowly or open a store. I mean all this it's small income and cheap living, maybe with a little time you get better job or business. It's a good country to be and arriving you can walk to the immigration lawyer office and see to your legal residence, just check not overstaying a tourist visa, apply at time, etc. etc.

QUALITY OF LIFE COMPARISON Nigeria vs Ecuador
https://www.mylifeelsewhere.com/compare/nigeria/ecuador

It's all true, I lived over there and visited many times. For jobs, 2 cities, Quito, the capital or Guayaquil if you like to be closer to the ocean, both are big and good for job or business. If you overstay your tourist visa, Ecuador doesn't follow you and you may stay for life unless you try get out of the country, then they fine you, pay and get out.

Staying on a Tourist Entry
When you first enter Ecuador, you will receive a T-3 tourist stamp in your passport, allowing you to stay in the country for 90 days.

If you wish to stay more than 90 days within a year, go to an Ecuador consulate in your home country and apply for the 12-IX visa. Often referred to as the Tourist, Commercial or Sports Visa, this allows you to stay in the country for up to 180 days in a year. If you are planning to apply for permanent residence, you are required to have the 12-IX visa when you file your application.

Resident visas can be obtained while in Ecuador on a tourist visa, but the process can be much simpler at consulate back home if you’re doing it yourself.

If you’re using an attorney, the process is even easier, and they can deliver your visa to you here in Ecuador, or have it sent to you in your home country (via the consulate) before you depart.

Huh?...are you sure about this country?

Isn't this the country you read in the news that most of its citizens are running away from that country and are trying the cross the US-Mexico borders either illegally or trying to claim asylum due to gang related and no employment.

You are mistaking it with El Salvador and Nicaragua. Ecuador has crime but no more than Nigeria, maybe less, I didn't look at it, Peru has more crime than Ecuador, and it is far away from USA to go to US-Mexico border. Ecuadorians as all Latin America also some try to get into US because in US salaries are much more but usually it is by plane as tourists going to Miami, all South America those who can, mostly fly to Miami and then overstay there or get a job visa, business visa, some just go to Miami shopping

Maybe Asia but I am not very familiar with living in Asia, only visited there sometimes in my work, so it was hotels, work and not seeing the real life.

Ecuador now is the best for living cheap, making money, and the most important, getting legal residence which also opens doors for you visiting neighbor countries easy, getting Ecuador passport which has more visa free countries, maybe succeed in business. I did very well in business in Peru but now it's not a place, Ecuador still is the place you can make money. If you get there, invite me, maybe I go there and we do something together (all legal, I am very good with law and my Spanish is native), bored being retired
