If you follow the story well, you'd notice that virtually all the ladies Pastor David had come across wanted to get hitched with him. She on her own part wants to be different by pastor zoning him as the title implies. Let's keep on reading and see how events will unfold.

“He said Ademide can come and work at the church’s account office”
“Thank you Jesus, you never disappoint me” her mum who was so happy was already dancing but stopped when she saw her daughter’s countenance.
“Is this girl okay at all. Didn’t you hear what your Daddy said?”
“I heard” she replied like a little girl who lost her candy.
“And what did you have to stay?” Her mum asked.
“I’m not interested. I can’t work in church”
“Did you hear your daughter?” Mummy Adetula said to her husband.
“Please just take her out of here before I loose my mind. Ademide leave this place, now!”
She hurriedly left the clinic. “Seriously, I don’t understand that girl this days” his father said with a confused look.
“Me neither, thanks for bringing my phone, we’ll talk about this when I return” she said and her husband left.
Some days later, Adedayo’s parent called him and told him to call her sister and talk sense into her. Since everything they said including Deola fell on deaf ears.
Adedayo called her sister and told her to come to his office. She dressed up after receiving his call and left the house.
“Sit” he said when Ademide walked into his office.
“Thank you” she answered quietly. Adedayo looked at her closely. Obviously she had been given enough hard time at home. He trust her mum’s nagging alone is enough to frustrate her.
“This is all about Pastor David right?” He asked but she didn’t answer.
“Do you know him some where?” No reply.
“Why didn’t you like him, has he done something bad to you or someone told you something about him?”
“D1, I just don’t like been around him” She confessed.
“You will be working in the account department. Not his office. You are not his secretary neither his PA”
“But I’m still working under him. And I don’t want to”
“My God!” he scratched his head. He has started developing headache already with his sister’s attitude.
“You are taking that job. One, you know how things are in the country. Two you can’t turn down the Pastor’s offer which he gave you on a platter of gold”
“Is it by force! I said I can’t work for him”
“Ademide stop been difficult. You are taking that job and that is final. Now you may leave”
“Are you sending me out of your office?”
“You will never see my good side again if you don’t take that job” He took his suit from the arm of the chair and wore it.
“See you when I see you, I need to be somewhere” he said and left her in his office.
Virtually everyone in the family has turned against Ademide. The only person she thought will support her didn’t have her back this time.

Adedayo and Pastor David have become close pals after the incident that happened in the Pastor’s office during the youth seminar. Unknown to Ademide, her brother has left her in the office to visit Pastor David.
He got to his office and met just one person waiting to see him. Adedayo greeted Bunmi, the secretary and ask after her well being now that her baby bump is now growing bigger..
“Pastor already told me, you are coming” Bunmi said.
“Yes, I gave him a call on my way here”
“He said you should wait for him. He’ll be through in 20minutes”
“Alright, no problem. Thanks”
He sat down, pick a Christian magazine on the table at the reception and started going through the pages.
The last person left another person came in after him but the Pastor attended to the person before him because he knew he’ll be spending more time with him. So in order not to waste the time of the visitor who just came in, he decided to see the person first.
Pastor David summoned him, when the last person left. He entered into the office and they greeted each other.
“Pastor, I don’t know anything until today. I was told you gave her a job and she rejected it” Adedayo said with all sincerity.
“Yes, and I know she won’t come”
“I know she rejected it because of you”
“She doesn’t like me at all. So this is my chance to get back at her” he said and they both laughed.
“I think she has no choice than to come and start working. No one is with her on this subject matter. She has no ally at home” he said.
“I’ll be here waiting for her. What do you care for?” he asked and buzzed his secretary.
An hour later, he left the office.

CHAPTER 11
On Monday morning, Ademide woke up very early. She had already written an application letter and made photocopies of her results and her CV is also ready. After the morning devotion, she started preparing for the day.
She had already made enquires from someone in church who works in the account department. The man enlightened her on what to do if she wants to work in the account department. She was told to go and meet the chief accountant directly to submit her credentials.
So that very morning, instead of going to the Pastor who gave him the offer, Ademide went straight to the chief accountant. When she got to the man’s office. She told him she needed a job but she was shocked at the man’s reply.
“I’m sorry Miss, we don’t have any vacancy. Though there’s a vacant space presently but we are not instructed to employ anyone. It’s like the job has already been allocated to someone, it’s just that the person hasn’t show up” The Chief accountant explained nicely.
“Ok sir. Thank you” she said and left the office but unluckily for her, she ran into Pastor David. She wanted to dodge but it was too late.
“Sister Ademide!” he called out. “Good morning Pastor”
“What are you doing here?”
“I came to see someone”
“Ok” that is all he said and he walked pass her.
She left the church and went straight to her brother’s office. He was busy attending to a customer, so she waited for him in his office.

She left the church and went straight to her brother’s office. He was busy attending to a customer, so she waited for him in his office.
“Sorry for keeping you waiting” Adedayo said as he walked into the office, sitting comfortably on his sit.
“I’m just coming from the church. I went to see the chief account and he said there’s no vacancy, that the space had been allocated to someone else but the person hasn’t showed up.
Adedayo adjusted his sit to the front. He pointed his finger at her sister and used it to hit Ademide’s forehead.
“Did you become dumb suddenly. Did you hear yourself at all. The space has been given to someone else and you still don’t know what that means!”
“Hun.. that hurt jo. Is it not what the chief accountant said” She said rubbing her forehead gently.
“Now I can see you are dumb” Adedayo said. Then he had a rethink for some seconds. “No, you are not dumb sis, you actually know what you are doing. Why did you go to the chief accountant in the first place. Who sent you there? You want to cut corners right!”
“Who else do you expect me to see, if not the chief accountant?”
“Good, shebi he has given you the job. Good for you, congratulations”
“Did you hear me at all I wasn’t given the job!”
“That was because there’s no vacancy. Miss smart woman, the place as already been reserved for you and you can’t get the job when you bypass the person who got you the job” He pointed out.
“Must I go through him?”
“You see… I know you know what you are doing. And to answer your, Yes, you must go through him. All you need is a letter from him to the chief accountant. It’s obvious he had already told the man he’ll send you over but my smart sister decided to cut corners”
“So what do you want me to do now?”
“Are you still asking me?”
“And I saw that Pastor David when I left that office and he didn’t say anything o” she murmured.
“God! See your life, he even saw you. Well, If I’m in his shoes I’ll do the same”
“So….
“Go back and see him. Have a nice day, I have a business to run” she stood up annoyingly.
“God knows I’ll be rich and great one day. You will see what I will do to everyone of you in that house for putting me through all this. I swear” She threatened like a little child.
“My friend shut up and stop behaving like a spoilt child. Go and do the needful” Her brother said. She eyed him and left. She went back to the church, as she was about to enter into the admin building she wept.
“God why did you decide to punish me this way. Why did you allow me loose my job” she cried. She later pulled herself together. Went into the bathroom to clean her face before going to his office.
She met with Bunmi, the secretary who has naturally fallen in love with her ever since she knew her name. They exchanged greetings, Ademide ask after her unborn name sake. Luckily and unluckily for her, Pastor David is on sit and has no visitor.
Bunmi buzzed his boss and he told her to let Ademide in after two hours.
“Sir?” Bunmi was shocked.
“You heard me” he said and hung up. Pastor David don’t keep people waiting that long when he has no other visitor. If he has something important doing inside, he’ll rather fix another appointment not telling the person to wait up for two good hours.
Bunmi looked at Ademide who was busy going through her phone. “Sis Ademide, is like he’s busy inside his office. He ask you to wait for another two hours”
“What! Two hours! He is doing this intentionally” She spilled but too late to take it back.
“Intentional! I don’t understand” She said with a confused look.
“Sis Bunmi, never mind” She picked her phone and called her brother.
“He wants me to stay out here for another two hours on a Monday morning!” She vented.
“Oh I forgot, he’s a pastor, so he’s being nice because if I were him you will wait till the close of the day before I attend to you” D1 countered her.
“Did you just say that? Sorry I called the wrong person” she said and hung up on his brother.
She called Adeola and the only thing she could say is to plead with her to exercise patient.
“You shouldn’t have cut corners too” Adeola said.
“What! D1 told you already!”
“Yes, he did. Just don’t try anything funny again. Promise?”
“I’ll try”Ademide replied.
“Please try. We need that job, I would have keep you busy by chatting with you online but I’m very busy right now” Adeola said.
“It’s okay, I’ll manage.”
“Take care sis” she said and ended the call.
Bunmi eyes was on her till she was through with the call. She was pondering on the reason why Pastor David will keep her out here for two hours and he isn’t expecting any visitor.
“Sis Ademide, you can have the TV remote. You can change it to any station of your choice. So you won’t get bored” Bunmi offered trying to make her comfortable.
Ademide smiled at her because she saw how concerned she was. “Thanks. This station too is okay” she said.
After an hour, Bunmi left her sit and went to Pastor David’s office.
She tapped the door before entering. “I didn’t ask you to come”
“Pastor I know but….
“If it’s about her, she will wait till the time I gave her. Once I’m ready for her, I’ll tell you to send her in” He instructed.
“Ok sir”
“Tell the office assistance to get lunch for her when it’s lunch time”
“Ok sir” She nodded and left his office and went back to her seat.
When it was lunch time, Bunmi gave the office assistance a lunch ticket and instructed the guy to get lunch for Ademide and herself at the church cafeteria. All the staff are entitled to free lunch from Monday to Friday courtesy, Pastor David. There’s no official duty on weekends. Non staff which include church members pay for whatever they take at the cafeteria.
The office assistance came back with the lunch pack and placed it in front of Ademide. She also handed that of the secretary to her.
“Sis Ademide, that’s your lunch”
“Thanks, but I’m ok”
“Pastor David was the one who gave the order, you must eat it o” she tried joking with her but Bunmi didn’t know better, she wouldn’t have mentioned Pastor David’s name.
“He asked you to get me lunch after keeping me here for almost two hours?”
“Sis Ademide, maybe he’s busy……
Ademide carried the food and headed towards the waste bin, she was about to dump it into the trash when she heard her name.
“Ademide! Don’t you dare!”
