I don't understand the regulations though because rccg plant is 25MW which exceeds the regulations people are citing.
Hopefully, they are able to give light to surrounding communities as was early planned.

I doubt it will be impossible, dangote sugar (Savanah sugar company) in Numan has 2 single 950 megawatt power plant, everything Dangote generates in that factory is 1900 megawatt with just 2 turbine using sugar cane waste to generate steam for the turbine.

In the US today States offer incentives to ordinary folks to instal solar panels. They pay you for the excess electricity you pump into the grid and cut your bills when they give you power (for instance at night) as a further incentive for you to buy more panels and storage capacity.

In Nigeria you buy poles, conductors and install transformer, they willl frustrate your life with bribe requests to energize it and then completely take it over if you are not willing to let them overload it or give you a maintenance bill to send power into it all ex-your normal monthly bill..... is this a sane society?.

Don't say so, the church has plans for mass housing on high rise buildings in its later phases. So when you are talking about 24/7 electricity it may be needed. And I know someone like oyedepo will sell to industries in Ogun state. The church was initially buying light from one plant in ogun around 2013 so nothing stops them from selling also.

Ogun state has the highest number of Industries in Nigeria. He surely would sell to them. Lafrange, Dangote Cement, Tower Aluminium, Distileries, and many other big Chinese industries hv their factories in Ogun state. Oyedepo will make money selling to them.

lol,to start with, Otta is most industrialized town in the whole of Nigeria(can google that) secondly, winners chapel is also currently building the biggest housing estate in the whole of West Africa "cannan city"(can also search that).
So What exactly is the problem you having? is the 1000mw to much for all that winners chapel has i.e faith tabernacle, faith theatre, covenant university, faith academy, covenant university secondary school, covenant university stadium(world class) Canaan city(over 250,000 houses to be built) Canaan land airstrip, Hebron FM, Canaan land bakery ,banks etc
