My little experience with Northerners especially toward politics is that majority of them are highly exposed, the masses are after those that will continue paying them their salaries regularly as most of them are under state bond from secondary school level and another factors is those that will aid their agricultural activities from loan to favourable politic.
So in summary, anybody that PMB raises his or her up for President as far as no allegation of corruption on his/her neck is going to win. People like Kwakwaso will pull crowd in their respective state but they can not defeat Buhari favourable candidates

First of all, no party will zone their presidental candidate to the south for the fear that the other will zone thiers to the north.

Secondly, Apc won't want to zone Vp slot to the South/South or South East because it is still not able to gather more than 25℅ of votes from that region. Hence, for the fear of losing more grounds to the PDP in southwest which is their strongest voting bloc in the South, they will likely consider a Southwest candidate.

Thirdly, Nuhu is not weak, he only doesn't have the platform yet. The northeast Muslims are already drumming support for some sort of recognition in the Nigerian political sphere for a long time, the problem was just the image of Atiku in the North.


I bet you that with the support of Buhari, most Fulani and Hausas will start seeing the qualities they love so much in Buhari in Mallam Nuhu too

This is what I did say, and from the look of things, his favorite from the southwest is Fashola. Besides fashola is a Muslim which most northerners are comfortable with. That's what got Abiola the votes.
The crux here would be the vp ticket. A Christian from the Northeast (The report on Boss Mustapha being loyal to the cabal the other day was to test the waters) or North Central States perhaps.
But one thing remains, PMB has the say in the northern votes. Kwankwaso is no match at all
