Are you on China rom? You can try update Google play services or reinstall it

I can't see the "choose update package" in the updater app any longer on rn5. Please, how can one update his phone offline? Any idea?

I was prompted to download an update of about 1.7gb, I downloaded it twice due to bad network though I never saw downloaded successfully (or something similar).

So I forgot about it. I was still getting another prompt for update which I disregarded cos I thought it was still the first one.

I just checked it this morning and noticed it was a new update of 965M I decided to look for the previous update in my phone and saw the file.

I tried updating my phone (with the 1.7gb now) it was telling me “it is not allowed to update with an unofficial ROM package”

Please where did I go wrong n what is the way forward? Thanks.

NB The file was zipped do I need to unzip it? The 1st image is the new update n when I was trying to update with the previous download. The 2nd is the zipped file.

Why not download the new update? The trick when downloading OTA update is to make sure you have a very good and stable network.

Another handy feature on Miui eu for folks who peharps are on a tight budget and want to keep tabs with their data usage. You can actually set a daily data limit without turning on any VPN connection like Google's "Datally" does. The feature also shows you how much data that's left on your plan, so you don't have to wait for your network to send you periodic data balance SMS. Very cool feature.

Unlock Bootloader, Root and Flash TWRP first. Use YouTube videos as guide.

After this, then you can choose which ROM you want to flash.

He meant like, if there's any known issue with the phone (Note 5 ai) .. Just like s6 edge is known for poor battery backup, galaxy S4's ram management issues, over heating on most HTC phones.. and stuff like that..

And I can confidently tell you that, the major "issue" with the phone are; the sleekness, the beauty, the speed and to top it up, the ability to use a wide variety of custom roms.

Presently, I'm am using Havoc mod custom rom, and boy/girl, it's buttery smooth.

And yes, the rom is updated regularly.

Depends on how many apps you're back in up. Mine takes 5-10mins for my 30+ apps.

Lool Hope you flashed the thermal config file after flashing the ROM ?

Was having the same issue with syberiaOS until i flashed the thermal config file. Phone now idles at 30°C and tops out at 34°C when doing the things you listed above.

See fine roms everywhere. To even unlock bootloader issa problem, no time. You guys are doing real good, Keep it up
