I went to gym for a while but I stopped due to low self esteem. I had to wait for all the big guys to finish their workout, so that I can unload all the irons to the weight I can carry. but that usually take a lot of time before they finish.

You are who you are, not what you look like, its easier to say though because appearance is everything especially in a place like Nigeria where people are judged right there on the spot.

People will say you should build your self esteem but its not as easy as that, this is something you have been battling with for a very long time so its not very easy to correct your thinking in a jiffy.

However , there is a trick if you can stay true to it.

Every morning when you wake up, look into the mirror and start telling yourself good things, tell yourself reasons why you are special, why you are loved, say good things about yourself.

This might sound crazy (talking to yourself) but the trick is loving yourself, you currently dont love yourself and it will be very difficult for people to love you,respect you or take you serious.

trust me, looks dont matter as much as we think, what matters is what we project.
