Below is what I think was in the mind of the VO, others can as well add or remove from it, so work on these and refire. 1) single n dependents - you are single without dependents that will necessitate your return after study hence no ties back home as regards this point 2) No support for previous travel history to assess as a positive - it means you did not put in copies of your previous visa and immigration stamped pages, but you listed countries you have travelled to. 3) No support for personal income or employment funds from a third party - you did not explain all the money that comes into your account/s on the statement of you submitted eg payslip, letter from employer, proof of business registration etc , third party here means co-sponsors if any they too must show where the money is and will come from by adding the things I mentioned earlier as the case may be. 4) Assessment of obligation is not practical - may mean that the relationship of your co-sponsor to you does not obligate him/her to sponsor you eg if you used a company then you must show why they are going out of there way to do such, if a distant relative whose last name is not same as yours you would show convincingly on a family tree how you guys are related and the person would include an affidavit of support. 5) a)-Not satisfied of provenance - you could not explain the origin of some large sum of money that reflected in your account b)- or and thus availability of funds to meet requirements of R220 - means the VO could not ascertain that you would have money available to you to complete your study without resorting to public funds thus you might either abandon the course or not finish in the stipulated time hence would need to extend your visa. 6) over all the applicant has weak ties to motivate return to current country of residence or country of citizenship - means you don't have relations like aged parents, you don't have a strong striving business, no good paying permanent and pensionable job, no landed properties, no spouse and kids that would be left behind ........................ 7) academic and professional history - simply means that your choice, of course, does not match your previous study and would not enhance your profession or carrier when you finish. 8. ) explanation provided- your SOP did not do justice to why you chose the course you are going for it should contain why you chose it and what you intend to use it to solve on return to your home. yacha77:Your denial is simple and also complicated. Using an estate account signifies funds that are available for general upkeep for you and your family. The fact that the funds is also been accessed by third parties aside from you means anything can happen and you might not be able to fund yourself in canada. My advice would be this: 1. You have to pay your 1st semester school fees. 2. Have a substantial amount transferred into a savings account to show the money is readily available. 3. I'll suggest your mum write a compelling letter of sponsor; something emotional probably your late dad (May his soul rest in peace) always wanted you to get the best of education and if he was alive he'd be proud to sponsor you..... I hope you get the drift, this people are human beings like us. 4. Attach a Family picture showing your late dad and his death certificate 5. If you have a family business that's registered you can use it as part of your home ties. If you are going for a management/business or any innovative program then you can add it to your SOP that you want to add innovative ideas to the family business and lift the pressure of your mum etc... and that your dad would be proud. I hope you get more advice from this forum. Good luck. P.S: It is left to you to proove to the VO that there woll not be pressure on your family to sponsor an expensive educational program in Canada. You have to attach proof that your siblings and all are doing well financially and gainfully employed because the VO is skeptical that the pressure might be too much. It is also advisable to have funds in traditional banks that can be easily verified than investment companies. |

peruz:It's good to know you're making successive progress with your application. With regards to question, payment of tuition fees prior to visa application is not a prerequisite to visa approval. Having said that, if your school doesn't require you to pay an upfront tuition deposit before the start of term, you don't have to do that. Simply submit your application with other supporting documents and bank statements showing clearly that you've adequate funds to cover for the first year tuition and living expenses and the possibility of funding for subsequent years is attainable. |
