Hey guys,

I have a little dilemma.
Should I apply for my study permit by Tuesday (April 9th) and wait for them to call me for medicals or should I apply by Thursday (April 11th) with upfront medicals?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by olaola17: 10:15am On Apr 06, 2019
Thank you. I will try this out right away. God bless!

Go to court and get the affidavit take it to him to read and endorse then take it to commissioner of oaths to sign. Try this method

If your program starts this fall (September) then do the upfront. Right from time April-june is where cic get the most applications. So to save time and stress go with that.

My first application

The intellectual work started from the day I got my first Gcms notes

I ordered 3 Gcms notes.

The VO edit tire looking for every loophole to bring me down in my Gcms.
My problem started with my sponsorship letter cause my dad made it straightforward. I didn’t know he has to state the amount he’s committing to my education.
They even wanted to use work permit against me thinking I deliberately chose the course cause of the work requirement.

My dad fixed deposit put me in a big mess... dem no recognize that thing at all.
I had to send my own account statement after my third Gcms note before I tackled first and second Gcms notes.

They also wanted to use travel history against me.

Last week I contacted about 150 MPs in Canada (I told myself even if nah one person answer me)
About 15 responded back (with stories that you’re not a constituent in the riding blah blah blah) the MP is my school riding just do like person wey go help me, I fill a form and all, then after everything she withdraws from it with stories.
Only 1 was helpful. He looked at my file and told me wassup. He told me what the VO wrote on my file with a biro. I don’t know how he did it though it took him two days to respond back to me. Nah there he stops to respond to me cause he said he can’t go deep on my file for privacy reasons. And he wishes me good luck. Such a nice man.
Ahmed Hussein used one of the MP to get back to me. (Is response wasn’t helpful at all)
Because the MP promised me that he going to talk to Ahmed Hussein on my behalf during their meeting... surprisingly this Ahmed Hussein tell the man he’s aware of my case that he got my message so so so date and time (they don’t joke with records) I can’t even remember the day I sent it to him but he was so accurate.
He told his colleague (MP) stories to tell me. (normal immigration stories).
The thing tire me.
Then the MP wished me good luck.

Earlier this year I contacted an immigration lawyer in Canada (he said he can’t do anything until they refused my visa).
They stored my names and all for records reason

They did a foss check on my brother in Winnipeg
I would advise you guys not to mention your sibling or family member in Canada cause it can be used against you or slow your application

That's all I can say now. ( I did a lot of research in this Canada study visa) if I show you my PC and phone tabs, you will shake your head.
Good luck to all the visa hopefuls.

Please to those that sent me a pm, I would be responding to only May, June and July buddies.

I also contacted one retired CIC VO in quora. He answered me but he's very very diplomatic. He didn't say anything that makes sense to me. e tire me

What a wonderful testimony, basic reason why I spy on this thread is reading stories like yours.

I have seen people who went farther than you but still never got it.

Although your application tips may be helpful to a sizable number of applicants, but I will say you were personally favored and the grace of God really spoke out loud in your case.

All the very best!!

I am so so happy for you. Like when you I got this news from you I actually shouted YES!!! and those around me were wondering what happened. I was grinning like I won something when I told them, I just heard one of the best news for this week.
I have always admired how much of a huge help you have been on this thread.
I am a living example of that, and there are others who have benefited from you on this thread.
Inspite of your anxiety and wait, you always took out time for others. You showed patience with others on the thread, even when they may have caused you to be angry.... LOL.
God bless you and I am happy for you.
Congratulations once again.

I have a first degree in electrical engineering since 2014, after which I went for nysc the following year 2015. Three years on since, I have been in the UAE working but in quite unrelated field to which I studied. I, in two attempts, couldn't get a masters admission in Canadian university with CGPA 3.4
Now I have admission in energy management for 1year graduate certificate,
admission in electrical engineering control system for 3year advanced diploma,
a fresh bachelors degree admission in Environmental engineering,
and admission for a 2 year advanced diploma fast tract in energy system engineering. All admissions for Fall 2019.
Please, good people, I need advice on which one to follow for best study permit/visa chance considering my odd job and study gap. I want to apply from UAE. I got no wife, kid or business firm and am self sponsored. My budget can comfortably take the 1year and two year programs.

For upfront or on medical request?
