You guys should chill with the conspiracy theories and just stick to the facts....everywhere around the world people get into jobs via connection - hence the thing called "reference", this is also the main point of using LinkedIn and all. Nevertheless no matter how flawed the process may be there will always be that 1 person, even in cases where there are "30 million applicants", that will make it by the grace of God and merit.

Why did you think Nnpc enumerated those criteria ? They did it to limit the number of applicant ? What is the tendency of a 2014 HND graduant to get a master before march 2019 in a federal or state institution? Remember he/she will also partake in NYSC.
How many people graduated with first class or second class upper from federal or state institution?
How many federal and state university graduate after service are below 28 years as of last year December?Strike will make sure that is not possible .
I have friends(2015 graduate) that started masters immediately after service.But they are far from completing their program.
Private university graduate have the upper hands but how many Nigerians can sponsor themselves through private institutions.
After this first phase I'm certain the population will be less than 100k for graduate trainee

Did you read through the FAQs on the recruitment portal? I'm sure you didn't even bother to click the icon. Did you ever put a call through to the recruitment helpline?

You are trying to sound authoritative when in the actual fact, you are VERY ignorant. That is what happens when you rely on third party sites for information. Yes, it was clearly stated in the FAQ section that those currently undergoing their Master degree programme or about rounding up can apply. Don't bother replying this post. Argument is not my forté.

I understand where you're coming from but I'm just stating the plain bitter truth not putting pressure on anyone. I didn't programme the site but someone else did. And it's just a system with a set of codes so it has no brains and neither has it any emotion or sympathy. Unless only the year would be considered and if this was the case, the day/month wouldn't have been specified or requested.

All the same, I wish they'll be shortlisted. And you too. And me too

I will appreciate if some people here can overcome their uncontrollable gestures in addressing concerns of applicants blindly on behalf of NNPC. Age x or y, undergoing mATERS or waiting for cert, submitted "to whom it may concern" or jas anything as evidence for Mr A, wah i know is u cannot verify all invitees at the test venue for aptitude test even if u try to, it will surprise u that even some hanging in the conditions stated would be invited. So please instead of exasperating the pressure & despair already compounded, kindly endeavour to resonate hopes in people with those concerns

You're wrong Mister, the advert says NOT MORE THAN 28, that means you must be 28 or less. So if you have already clocked 28, you are qualified. 28 is the limit, but you must not be more than that age as at 31st December.

We are here talking about 2.1,2.2,1St class and age.... Mind you nnpc has contract staffs working with them for several years some with o'level... They are agitating using community level asking nnpc to convert them to full time staffs though they have been fighting for it long ago.... I met those staffs during my industrial training..... They are hundreds of contact staffs in nnpc mostly in the refining ,production,maintenance unit, petrochemical plants sectors.... They want conversion without exams or being asked to apply because they have the experience.... Let's just pray and be hopeful... Anything is possible...

Mind you not all subsidiaries need staffs......
People with ssce ,ond will get the job so don't be surprise when you hear or see things happening....

Go to Wikipedia, search for the profile (biography) of any prominent person, check their date of birth and then look at the age Wikipedia writes for the.. Wen u do dat, u will correct urself

But let's be sincere they deserve it and above all those contract staff are over worked and more experienced than their staff.How ever the idea of them not writing exams shouldn't be considered .Iam oof the opinion that atleast 20% should be set aside for them
