Okay. Except your LAD is followed by other systemic symptoms you really need not have to worry about it just as your doctor said. I supposed you never knew you had a LAD until you went for complaint of awareness to your heartbeat or something else. Though prescription aim is to fall blood pressure the Atenolol will do alot to control sinus rhythm in other way as beta-adrenegic blocker.

That this medication can offer a correction to LAD is not what I can tell. However, you can ask on an appointment with your doctor.

Please oh . I have paronychia and it hurts like hell. It gives me a maddening throbbing pain. it's hot and I think there's pus in it. What do I do? I've tried warm water soaking , no way. Someone suggested I go to a chemist and get an injection that will dry it up. My mom is suggesting I soak it inside kerosene. Please doctors help me. I have test on Wednesday and I can barely write well
Someone reply please

Go to a drugstore ask them to help you with Clindamycin(150mg) and take down with two tabs of paracetamol. Or, you may decide to use Visita Plus ointment separately or in addition to the former. If you choose to rub the ointment or paste then it be done some hours before the use of the Clindamycin.
Treatment should take 3-4days. If no improvement, then the whitlow could have fungal origin and an antifungal may have to be prescribed. Warm press application should always be done before applying the ointment.

Hope you are not pregnant? Are you diabetic ? Age?

Your catarrh:
Colour?
Watery or thick?
Blood-stained?
Does it associate with cold or/and cough?

Do you have Chestpain?
Do you find awareness in your breathing pattern?
Do you find awareness in your heartbeat?

Fever?

Loss of appetite?
Difficulty swallowing food?
Lightheadedness?
Headache?

Dear Dr,
It started abt 2wks ago, I woke up with one red eyes n little pus. I just put onions n it cleared as the day went on. 2 days later, I have stuffy nose n I use procold. Later I was waking up with cough due to dryness of the throat in mid night , headache joined n little fever. I just some malaria drugs but the cough n dryness continued. The pharmacist advice I should take antibiotics Ciprotab.. after abt 2-3 days I have sore throat. I use cough syrup, n d cough stopped.
Presently I have terrible sore throat, dull headache whenever I stress myself and I keep waking in the mid night due to dryness of the throat. I checked my mouth i saw some little white stuff at the back of my mouth, though it seems getting better since I stopped the antibiotics (i actually completed the 5 days)
I don't feel the pain while eating. I don't have fever. Major issue is the dryness of the throat and the sore throat

You did not mention how your eyes has improved.
How is it now?
You could have fine if you had delayed on stopping the antibiotics. But at this time, I will prefer on you using Amoxicillin than Ciprofloxacin. This treatment should last another 4days.
During this period simultaneously, you may do the following to alleviate discomfort:

1. Gargle the mouth with salt water mixture and let it out, morning and in the evening.
2. For the now stay off dried food.
3.Drink pepper soup cooked with those native spices.
4. Put off activities that can worsened your throat conditions, for example blowing the trumpet...
5.A warm tea can be helpful.
6. Vitamin B2 and C can be helpful.

Should no improvement after this present medication, kindly see your doctor.

uh um!
Just be careful next time. You never could tell how worse it can be relying on that onion therapy.
This is how most simple problems turn out severe and complicated.

Hello Doctor,
I started having this itching on my buttocks with tiny boils since last 2 weeks and it has become very severe of recent.
Whenever I scratch it there are peels that come off and the area is darker than my normal skin.
The itching and scratching is always severe at night.
A friend suggested that I was suffering from Eczema, but what is Eczema and how do I treat it.

Why haven't you seen a doctor for this complaint?
Also, can you make available a pics to view those boils?

Have you been sharing pants/clothes/trousers with any one?
What about shaving sticks?
Do you use public toilets?
Do you live around the riverine area?
Did any experience any insect bite on your buttocks or anywhere before now?
Do you often suffer this at childhood?
Does this itching subside when you expose this buttocks of yours to air?
Does warm press reduce the itching?
Did you have sex some weeks or days before now?
Is your sex partner complaining of any illhealth?

I had an infection in my blood so I was placed on antibiotics for two weeks. The infection got all cleared up, but I began to react to the antibiotics in the form of consistent diarrhea. After a stool sample lab evaluation, I tested positive to c-diff. I have tried flaggyl, loperamide capsules, and vancomycin for the c-diff, but none has worked. Please, is there something else I should use to get rid of the diarrhea? Apart from the frequent stooling, the only symptom that comes with my diarrhea is fever. The diarrhea has lasted for 12 days now.
Do you mean Clostridium difficile for your C. diff?
What was responsible for the toxaemia(blood poisoning) or infection if at all you did labs on it?
Also, those medications you took for the proposed causative agent for your stooling were they written sensitivities apart from Loperamide?

I had a wound that got infected and the infection entered the blood. I did a lot of labs. They said it is c.diff. I took a lot of antibiotics for the infection especially augmentin. I just started on loperamide; it was initially vancomycin, and I have no idea about its sensitivities.
What's the frequency of stooling today?! Any improvement?
Can I know where you had the wound? Is it healing?
Can I see the labs you done so far on this problem?

You may do the following to stop the recurrence of your eczema:

1. Continue to use the Sivoderm, it will help moisturize the skin and prevent further irritation leading to itching.

2. You may apply coconut oil on your skin. Make the coconut oil from the fruit yourself. This oil will reduce or even dull the coloration of the eczema and apart from that coconut oil helps prevent several skin irritable problems. You may prefer using the coconut oil cream only. It smells cool and relaxes the skin.

3. Expose your skin to light.

4. Use simple soaps with dettol in your water to bath.

5. In addition to the Griseofulvin(fulcin) being used by you, you may add to it clindamycin 150mg.

6. Vitamin A and biotin can helpful though but not necessary.

Let me know how you have done so well in a months time. If no improvement then a Corticosteroid cream may be applicable.
