It's true especially in the North here this girls are more fluent speaking Hausa so they feel uncomfortable speaking English or even writing it for the fear of messing things up

Another reason is "I am to Big/Important “ mentality there are some Android phones that the amount of message received on whatsapp or messager would be displayed on the home screen on top the App girls love that. it shows that they are important.

because dats wat they told u. Dont believe everything u hear on social media. For two ppl to marry there must be a sort of attraction. There was this language school i attended. The guy dat owned it b4 he gave it to his mom used to run the d school. This guy is very flaunt in german so he joined one german speaking group on facebook and cos of his fluency this got d attention of one german girl in d group.they started interactin and d girl asked him how he was able to speak her lingo and he told her he learnt it on youtube. Dats how dhier relationship started b4 she now came to naija and they married. So u see na attraction. Its not just by sending random dms to different girls on instagram and just be saying hi dat u think u will get a girl. E no dey happen dat way.
